NOFU — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

We were driving through the village when my wife found this good rated restaurant on Google maps. We were quite in a hurry so when we saw that the restaurant was basically empty, only 2 people were sitting at a table, who already had empty plates, we decided to stop here thinking it would be a quick and based on the reviews - tasty lunch. We ordered a shrimp appetizer, 2 medium cooked beef chops and some sodas. We had to wait for our food for around half an hour which instantly made us unhappy being the only ones who had ordered anything. After the long wait, we got served the meat first, and only then the appetizer (???). And when we cut into the meat - it was pork (fully cooked of course). Seeing as it took so long to get our food and we were in a hurry, we ate it as we didn't have enough time to wait for them to re-do the both main dishes. And as you can guess, when we got the bill, we were charged for beef. With no time to argue, we paid and left vowing to ourselves that we'll leave this review for others to be aware.

TL;DR the food took a long time, appetizer came after mains, we got not what we ordered and were charged for more expensive meat while getting the cheaper one.

Found this spot by chance whilst on the lookout for a lunch spot between destinations.

The staff was kind and we ordered the NOFU burger, fries with cheese, and meatballs. We enjoyed the meal, although the fries were a bit soggy and the fries that came with the burger were very plain. However, the burger itself and the meatballs were very tasteful.

The interior was among some of the more modern-styled we have seen on Rhodes, whilst maintaining that Greek flair.

A recommendation when you are...

I have never eaten meat this well prepared. I highly recommend this place! The interior is modern and very well thought out, for example the wooden tables are made by one of the waiters' carpenter father.

Menu is in greek, so have that in mind when you come here. The only thing that I had a gripe with was the music, which was quite loud and not to my tastes (pop hits & basic EDM), that I managed to bear due to everything else...
