Delicious food, warm service and staff, nice setting on a green lawn with cozy lights, but a very limited menu, especially if you're a vegetarian.
Thankfully, no one in our group was so we thoroughly enjoyed our food, but we would've liked to see more options to choose from. I don't want a stuffy menu, but neither do I want to see only meats, fish and salads as main dishes. We went there on a Sunday and the owner said they have a limited menu for the weekend because it gets busy. I somewhat understand that, but I still don't think it's completely justified.
Anyway, I'll recommend the Tzatziki, Ostria Saganaki (a bit expensive for the size of the portion, but very tasty) Pork Chop and Pork Souvlaki. They were all delicious, but we were disappointed with the frozen fries that were served as sides.
The owner was very kind and friendly, as was the entire staff, and they actually all came together and thanked us when we left. That was a really nice touch.
The place is also nice, most of the tables are situated on a lush green lawn with plenty of space between them and a swing set for the kids.
Prices are reasonable, but a little bit high compared to other similar places.
I'll recommend it, but try not to get there on a weekend and leave your vegetarian...
Read moreWe were living in the hotel next to this restaurant. They have a restaurant which opens in the evening. But they have also a bar with a beach area where you can rent a beach bed.
We visited the restaurant a bit out of the blue following the recommendations which were posted on google.
We were welcomed warmly by Giorgos. He gave a us a beautiful table. There is a little Swing where the children can play. Also some footballs are available.
We ordered a bit of everything. We can recommend especially there grilled sausages (homemade!) and meat (meatballs absolutely a must try. Also their little shrimps from rhodos (a rarity) is delicious.
The service is fast, but be ready if all tables are occupied you need a bit of time. But as I said it is absolutely worth it.
This is a family-run restaurant, father and mother in the kitchen, sons in the service. We visited this restaurant twice and we will visit the...
Read moreUnfortunate that I found this place on my last day here in Rodos. I had the pleasure to meet the family who runs the Restaurant and Beach Bar. George, Polis, and Yoti (Hope i didn't butcher you guy's names) lol are one of THE MOST HUMBLING AND NICEST people i've met in this island.
It doesn't take much to make someones trip one to be remembered. A single bottle of water can make all the difference and that did it for me. This kind of experience is hard to find these days. The food and drinks are just a cherry on top. For that, this is the reason why i'm taking the time to write this review.
Again, I wish I have found this place earlier.
P.S. Hey George, Next time the wind blows me back to Rodos we are definitely on for...
