ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝΙΟΝ - Λαγονήσι — Restaurant in Municipality of Saronikos

This review does not pertain to the staff or the service provided by thie staff, it is about the owner of the establishment "Elena". The staff is always polite, professional and friendly. In all the years I have gone there, I have not encountered one employee who did not fit the above description. Unfortunately, I can not say remotely the same about Elena. This morning, she came flying into the parking lot in her white land rover and parked in clearly marked handicap spot, went into the store only acknowledged the cashier, then went to order her coffee with complete disregard to the number of orders and the people in line waiting to order. She then took pictures of a Halloween display and proceeded to post on her instagram story (as she stated to the cashier). I approached her as soon as I found out that she was the owner to address the fact that she was parked in handicap spot and she had no indication on her vehicle that it belonged in that spot. I asked her if she was the owner with a smirk and a sarcastic tone says "I'm a simple cashier not the owner". I then said you are not only disrespectful to those with disabilities, you are also a liar. She shrugged her shoulders, laughed, took a sip of her coffee and went to her car which she sat in for 5 minutes on her phone before leaving. In Greece, generally speaking, there is a lack of respect for those who need assistance but to be the owner of a business (actually 3 business) and have a complete disregard is unfathomable. Τελείως αδιάφορια και ασέβεια! Ντροπή!

Next time you park in a spot where you shouldn't be in.Take a minute and consider what if it was a member of your family that may need that spot. People With disabilities, don't choose to be disabled. People with handicaps don't choose to be handicap.
