extremely disappointing experience my family and I recently had at this restaurant. We visited your restaurant for a meal, but unfortunately, I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone after the ordeal we went through.

Upon placing our order, we waited for a significantly long period of time – almost an hour – before our food was served. To our shock and disgust, the shrimp dish we ordered was infested with worms. When we brought this to the attention of the staff member on duty, their response was unsatisfactory. Rather than offering a solution or compensation, they simply attempted to remove the contaminated dish and return it to us. To add insult to injury, we were also charged in full for all items ordered, despite the unacceptable quality of the food and service we received.

I would put 0 stars if I could. You have to be very careful with what you order: if it's fish, there's a good possibility that it is not (very) fresh as it should and charged for, but served as fresh. We ordered 8 redfish (called "barbounia") weighing around 1.2 kilos. The owner put the "nor fresh" ones at the bottom of the dish and the fresh on top so that we would assume that all 8 are good!! When I saw the bottom 4 🙂 I complained for being deceived. He the owner admitted it, but he said that it wasn't his fault, and that only had to do with the frying method!! (I guess the top 4 were fried elsewhere 🙂). On top he said it's not his tavern and he only works there!! 😀 What a coward fool.. We had gone to this place about a year or so ago and again a few days ago. I’m assuming the ownership has changed because the first time the food was great and this past week the experience was very disappointing. The bread was not good, the French fries were refried, the quality of olive oil they use in their salads was poor and the octopus in vinegar was very chewy. We did tell them about the octopus and they were kind enough to credit it on the bill. The grilled calamari was good and fresh. And the service was nice. A few simple changes to this place like the quality of the olive oil they use and the bread they serve and I think they can bring it back to...
