Absolutely atrocious. Avoid this place!

Food: We ordered salad, calamari and tzatziki. The salad never came, the calamari was rubbery and tasteless, not even salted. Tzatziki was fine but that’s hard to mess up.

Service: I don’t usually care too much about service and am totally fine with Greece’s laid back hospitality. I’ll accept grumpy if your food is legit, but the service here was next level horrible. Getting menus, ordering, getting our food and getting the bill all took forever. When it came to paying I went straight inside to the counter to flag down the staff. I stood there for what felt like an eternity asking to pay and being told to wait and generally being ignored. I actually came close to walking out without paying, the only thing that stopped me was that we were staying in cheronissos.

Value: The bill came to almost €30 for the two items we actually received (after complaining to get the salad removed because it never arrived) and bread and water. Unbelievably expensive. We’ve had excellent dinners including wine for €40, or a cheap eat like pita souvlaki for €2.50.

The ambience at this place is also non existent. At night it’s overly brightly lit with fluorescent white lights like an office.

Avoid this place like the plague. Try the fish tavern in cheronissos instead, I have no idea why this place has a passable rating and the fish place tavern is so badly rated because it was so much nicer...

We enjoyed many meals here during our week long stay on Sifnos. This is a Sifnian seafood taverna with a chef who really knows how to cook delicious seafood. We had a tasty and different meal each night but could not choose a favorite. You can select from the fresh fish for your meal or they will recommend for you. They explain each of the dishes and ensure you get a meal tailored to your taste. The servings are hearty and really good value.
