A Must-Visit Gem in Kiato! I had the pleasure of dining at Mavadda Gastro Bar during my trip from the USA, and it was easily one of the highlights of my visit. From the moment I walked in, the warm and stylish atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful evening. The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We enjoyed the shrimp arancini, chicken tartlet, black-eyed bean salad, and slow-cooked pork, and each one was a true standout. The arancini were perfectly crisp with a delicious, savory filling, while the pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender and rich with depth of flavor. The balance of textures and seasonings across the menu really showed the creativity and passion behind the kitchen. The drinks were just as impressive. I ordered a Hugo Spritz, and it was refreshing, bright, and one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time — perfectly crafted to complement the meal. Service was equally exceptional: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without ever being overbearing. It’s clear the staff take real pride in making sure every guest has a memorable experience. Mavadda has that perfect mix of amazing food, fantastic drinks, and a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers on all fronts, this is it. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely return on...

Plastic and paper is avail, but understanding that pasta IS gluten seemed an unknown, as are the consequences to those who suffer from the allergy. Otherwise, a nice place with a good menu of drinks. Follow up. Visit 2 - So I came back two years later and had their angus beef burger. Considering the gastro angle of their resto, the food wasn’t very inspiring. The sauces masked any evidence of angus, and while the portion was large, the burger game has evolved so much these past few years that what was the in between this bun felt dated. I didn’t finish it. I’m not passing judgement on their full menu but give this dish a pass especially if you’ve had anything remarkable in North America. Spend the money on local dishes and enjoy what usually is a better calibre...
Read moreI’ve been to Kiato numerous times over the years and I can honestly say this is the first restaurant that has blown my socks off! It was absolutely incredible from the salad to the mains. We were honestly still speaking about the food days later reminiscing it was that good! The ONLY negative thing about our experience was the music volume inside the restaurant was a bit too loud for us, BUT it was the night of a cocktail party so not sure if it was an...
