P.s. Answer to the owners response:
I was not writing the review when I was at the table, I was reading the other reviews trying to understand if the failed octopus was a one time error or there were another disappointed customers. And, what I do on my phone when sitting on a restaurant is non of your concern- are you trying to tell me that if I would have been writing the review last night, while waiting for you to bring me an eat-able dish, my review in not real? Lucky you I had no energy last night to write a review, and make pictures of the “little overcooked “ plates of octopus - so anyone can feel the disappointment I felt then!
You should appreciate more your clients even if they are tourists, and be correct with us, and respect your beautiful place - and make it better, not a place to avoid - as you did with us (and others, as I read after seeing the food you serve and the way you treat your clients ).
And when a client returns a dish, you don’t say to him the dish is properly cooked- when even the kids from the table saw the awful way that that poor octopus was cooked - being almost black. You ask for some apologies, try to repair the damage- not pull the plate from the table, talking angry in your language - as if I was asking for something unusual and I did something wrong… you should have eat that plate last night to see what kind of food you serve, and not pretend that this is the way to be cooked, as if it was the first time for us eating Greek food. When a cooking mistake is done, you don’t throw the guild over the tourist- and tell him he does not know how a dish has to be prepared… My husbands octopus was the same, but he tried to eat some pieces - embarrassed by your way of dealing the problem. Was the first time we left a restaurant still hungry, with this bitter taste… of being treated like we did something...
Read moreThe view was the only good thing. The ONLY! The photos are from the arriving of the food and the second one is how we left the table. We ordered: Grilled shrimp (not cleaned at all!), Tarama, Fried squid (that i could barely chew), Fried zucchini (that were tasteless to say the least). All of the food was super dry, the zucchini had no sauce whatsoever. We didn’t like the food at all and once we told the server that, his first sentence was: “The food is fresh. I don’t know what you don’t like…” We wanted to leave and even pay for that, until he turned to me and in front of my man told me with Google translate “I knew something was wrong with you from the moment i saw you” and then very rudely banished us from the restaurant, saying that we are “problem tourists” ..
