Fantastic Greek taverna, we could not recommend it enough. Absolutely fantastic location, right on the beach in a scenic village. Very friendly atmosphere- staff make you feel at home from the moment you come in, even if you’re a bit early for dinner for Greek standards. Fantastic menus- just the right combination of traditional Greek dishes, easily recognisable for tourists and more local specialties, seafood and meat, as well as a few options for fussy eaters. When the food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised- beautiful to look at, smell nice and is absolutely delicious. You don’t need to wonder if it’s fresh- it speaks for itself. We ordered a few salads, tzatziki, grilled cheese and roasted feta. All very nicely presented, fresh and delicious to eat. Squids stuffed with tomatoes and feta cheese- sublime! Grilled octopus- perfectly cooked and just the right amount. Fried squid- fresh and light. Very tasty house wine. Finally, a good bye surprise from the owner- a delicious cake. We will definitely be coming back here to try the rest of the menu.

End of July 2021. Group of 2. They had juicy burger patties and well-cooked schnitzel accompanied with Greek salad and tsipouro Tsilili. The staff was cordial, quick at serving and well trained. Bonus: At the end, they offered us the fluffiest ravani dessert with semolina.

Great BBQ, reasonable prices and a wonderful view by the sea. Has a huge problem with wasps if you go there before sunset however (warning to anyone who may be allergic). Also their spaghetti not really worth the money, always opt for the freshly made meals.

Undercooked pink aka RAW chicken. Upset stomach for days and the "runs".

At least they didn't charge me for it and the rest of the family had a nice meal. They need to step up their game.

In response to the restaurant's comment to my above review:

I do not like being called a liar, that is not very pleasant and courteous. You have to wonder what the point of my review would be if all i wanted to do was get away with a free meal! I am perfectly happy to pay for a meal that does not give me food poisoning.

Prior to ordering chicken souvlaki I ordered a four cheese pizza which was not pleasant as was heavily over seasoned with oregano. I do not usually return dishes but on this occasion I did given the two meals I had ordered. After having been served the two dishes I told the waiter i did not want anything else. It was not that I did not like the chicken souvlaki, it's actually one of my favourite dishes when I come to Greece, it was just that it was not cooked. Maybe the chef was having a bad day. I know it was really busy at the time as members of other yachts were eating at the same time so understand how the cooking of the chicken could have been neglected.

When I said I have been ill for days, to which the restaurant replied I was there the previous day, I was referring to the evening at the restaurant as one day and the following day as another of being ill, both suffering with sickness and diarrhoea, which have now turned into a few days of the same. My partner also tried a little bit of my chicken souvlaki and has also been very ill since. I may add that we had about two thirds of one kebab (NOT over half the dish as the restaurant commented) between us to get these symptoms. If I had eaten the whole dish or even half I'm sure I would be experiencing even worser symptoms possibly even hospitalised.

When you order from a restaurant which the sailing company had recommended you trust that you are not going to get poisoned, hence my review to make other people aware of my experience should they want to order chicken from the restaurant.

I live in England and have just completed a wonderful two week sailing tour of Greece. Each of us on our yacht have paid circa £2000 for the holiday so as people can appreciate I do not have any qualms paying for a relatively inexpensive meal (which I have been doing every night).

The restaurant commented that they saw me this morning 'walking fine' - my partner and myself were having a morning stroll back to the yacht toilets.

I take credit in being a very honest and objective person and give credit where due and often give tips at restaurants. I can honestly say that we have eaten out as some lovely places this holiday with nice food and good service, it is a real shame that the experience hasn't been the same here for me unfortunately.

I remember visiting this restaurant a few years back and had a lovely meal and service then so it's a shame about this time.

I suggest in future you the restaurant deal with comments and feedback more maturely and appropriately and do not accuse your paying customers of being liars (I paid for my starter, drinks and my partner's meal). I am shocked and appalled at your response and would have thought you would take your food hygiene...

To begin with , i was left speechless when all those amazing and tasteful foods arrived at my table, the horiatike pizza was so amazing that we got one for home , the moussaka was a miracle send from gods and the greek salad was also pretty cool . The service was excellent and the stuff was quite friendly and helpful, but the manager of the restaurant was the friendliest of all.Within the first 30 minutes all the foods we ordered had arrived at our table.
