Ψησταριά Ο Στέλιος — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

Äußerlich ein ganz normales Grill-Restaurant neben einer Schnellstraße. Wir haben nur angehalten, weil es weit und breit sonst keinen Imbiss mit Souvlaki Pita gibt. Meine Familie und ich waren sehr überrascht über die Vielfalt an Grillspezialitäten. Grillhähnchen, Gyrosspiess, Souvlaki vom Schwein und Huhn, Burger (natürlich mit der üblichen Bifteki 😉)... Alles was das Fleischesser-Herz begehrt.

Die Karte in Englisch und Griechisch ist üppig, aber nicht unübersichtlich. Die Preise sind recht günstig. Ein Beispiel: Hamburger mit Pommes für 3,50€; Souvlaki Pita mit Schweinefleisch, Tomate, Gurke, Zwiebeln, Tzatziki, Spezialsauce und ein paar Pommes für 2,50€; Portion Pommes Rot/Weiß 2,20€; Cola, Fanta, Saft je 1,50€. Also essen für vier Personen (jeder zwei Getränke) für unter 30€.

Für mich noch das Wichtigste: Die Bedienung namens Dina! Sehr nette Frau, zuvorkommend, gut erklärend und hilfsbereit. Sehr Kinderfreundlich. Spricht sehr gutes Englisch.

Mein Fazit: Wir werden hier gerne wieder essen gehen und freuen uns schon auf die nächsten Tage.

PS: Man kann hier natürlich auch Essen mitnehmen bzw. Essen bestellen und liefern lassen.

Looks like a normal grill restaurant next to a highway. We stopped only because there is no snack with souvlaki pita far and wide. My family and I were very surprised by the variety of grilled specialties. Grilled chicken, Gyrosspiess, pork and chicken souvlaki, burgers (of course with the usual Bifteki 😉) ... Everything the meat-eaters heart desires.

The menu in English and Greek is sumptuous, but not confusing. The prices are quite cheap. An example: hamburgers with fries for € 3.50; Souvlaki pita with pork, tomato, cucumber, onions, tzatziki, special sauce and a few fries for € 2.50; Portion of chips red / white 2,20 €; Coke, Fanta, juice € 1.50 each. So food for four people (each two drinks) for under € 30.

For me the most important thing: The waitress named Dina! Very nice woman, accommodating, good explanatory and helpful. Very child friendly. Speaks very good English.

My conclusion: we will be happy to eat here again and look forward to the next days.

PS: Of course you can also take food or food ordered...

This is how my 5* rating should look like! Lets start with food, we got tzatziki, pork souvlaki and salad. All came almost immediately... Like express fast!! Great! Tzatziki were well balanced - not too much garlic (how I like it) but there was tone of it so we both (me and fiancee) enjoyed it! Souvlaki are with fries but I dont really like them thus I asked for change - without any hesitation they gave me salad instead (no extra charge!). The portion was so big that we asked for package - again, with no problem (again no extra charge). To pay? 21€. Unbelievable. Great prices for big rations, great food, excellent and fast service, smiles... Our first time but definitely...

Excellent food, excellent service, relaxing atmosphere in outsoor area. We just had simple lunch, pita gyros and drinks, but even that you could tell how good the food was. A level above other places. We’ll be back for some of the grilled meats and salad. The girl who took care of us, very kind and efficient, always smiling while taking care of the whole place. ...
