Every so often, you find a place that captures the exact feeling you hope for when you travel: relaxed, welcoming, and quietly unforgettable. Olive Tree, tucked away on the southeast coast of Corfu near Boukari, is that kind of spot.
From the terrace, the Ionian Sea stretches out in calm blues and silvers, framed by flowering trees that sway gently in the breeze. It’s the kind of view that makes you slow down, put your phone aside, and just breathe for a while. The setting alone would make this worth a stop — but Olive Tree doesn’t just rely on its location.
The food is fresh, simple, and satisfying. Even something as straightforward as fries and a sandwich comes out with care — crisp, golden, and served with just the right touch. The bar is well stocked, so you can enjoy everything from a cool beer to something a little stronger as the evening rolls on. And if you’re a coffee lover, their barista-quality coffee is a real treat; smooth, rich, and easily among the best cups you’ll find in the area.
Practical touches matter too: the facilities are modern, very clean, and clearly looked after — something that isn’t always guaranteed in small coastal spots. It shows they value not just atmosphere, but also comfort.
The staff add the finishing touch: warm, easygoing, and genuinely attentive without ever hovering. You feel welcomed, not rushed, and that makes all the difference.
Olive Tree is the kind of place you remember not just for the food or the sea view, but for the mood it leaves you with — a sense of calm, a sense of being cared for, and the simple joy of good...

It is so lovely, the location is right by sea and the staff is cheerful and welcoming. The coffee and food was amazing, most notable the granola fruit bowl and cappuccino! It just hit the spot, especially when a so called 5 star hotel can’t even provide subpar coffee.
We actually chose to eat here more days even while having all inclusive! It is a must and you won’t be disappointed. The reviews honestly speak for...
Read moreThis was super close to our hotel, and we visited every day once we’d found this lovely place! We had coffees (which were the best we had during our holiday) but also had cocktails during the evening which were fab. Super good prices too. We received free water with our coffees which is a lovely touch. The staff are absolutely lovely and made such an effort to make us feel welcome. This is also a mini mart with a good range of products. Beautiful views to enjoy your drinks (they also offered food which we didn’t try, but looked really good)
Definitely worth a visit, we’re already...
