We were so pleased that we chose to stay a short walk from Avra Oceanos, What a wonderful find this was. From the moment we arrived on the first of several visits we felt so welcomed by the owner and staff. We have a family member who is quite anxious and even she felt fully at ease straight away in this lovely family owned and run Taverna. The food, cooked by a great kitchen team, is delicious and there is something for everyone, whether you want simple un-fussy food for children, local Corfiot cuisine or lovely fresh fish dishes (try the seafood mezze I don't think you'll regret it). The prices are very reasonable, they accept debit/credit cards, the facilities are clean and they are open from mid morning until about 9:30pm every day except Tuesday. We are so grateful to everyone there for their lovely stories, friendly banter and welcoming nature, they really helped to make our stay on Corfu an awesome experience, we really didn't want to say goodbye and we truly hope to...

And the food? Fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great attention to detail. The menu features light, seasonal dishes – fresh fish, salads, seafood, and homemade appetizers that perfectly suit the beachside atmosphere. Every dish was not only tasty but beautifully presented.

The service deserves special praise – friendly, polite, and very helpful. You can immediately tell that the staff works with passion and truly cares about the guests’ experience.

Beach Bar is a place you’ll want to come back to – not just for the excellent food, but also for the atmosphere and warm hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a moment of relaxation in a unique setting.

Już od pierwszych chwil można poczuć tu wakacyjny klimat. Lokal położony tuż przy plaży oferuje niesamowity widok na morze, który idealnie komponuje się z relaksującą muzyką i lekką bryzą. To idealne miejsce zarówno na leniwe popołudnie, jak i romantyczny wieczór przy zachodzie słońca.

Jedzenie? Świeże, pełne smaku i przygotowane z dbałością o każdy szczegół. W menu dominują lekkie, sezonowe potrawy – świeże ryby, sałatki, owoce morza i domowe przystawki, które idealnie wpisują się w letni, plażowy klimat. Każde danie było nie tylko smaczne, ale też pięknie podane.

Na szczególną pochwałę zasługuje obsługa – uśmiechnięta, uprzejma i bardzo pomocna. Od razu czuć, że pracują tu ludzie z pasją, którzy naprawdę dbają o komfort gości.

Possibly the finest sunset location in the whole of southern Corfu. But more than that, the owners are clearly passionate about their taverna which makes its own white wine (delicious and cheap), makes its own olive oil, and serves authentic Corfiot food of a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were friendly and attentive. The owner is charming, hardworking and extremely engaging, and clearly enjoys the sunset though he must have seen it hundreds of times.

The whole place is built in a labyrinth of ancient olive groves which provide a magical setting on a balmy evening. 5 stars are richly deserved. We had a fabulous evening and the food was very reasonably...
