Sofianos George — Restaurant in Municipality of Spata - Artemida

Went to sit at this restaurant, given that it was one of only two that were open when we visited Spata. Stood at front, looking at menu, for a few mins. Were not greeted at all. Walked in, made eye contact with a couple patrons, couldn’t find a staff member anywhere so we sat ourselves at a table. A few minutes later a lady stood up from a table (we had previously assumed she was a patron, when we saw her earlier) and then she brought some menus over, all while still having conversation with the person she was sitting with. We had already known what we wanted to order, considering the menu is one page long and we had already looked at it outside for a few mins, but she just dropped the menus at our table and then went back to her seat with the other person. We sat there for several more minutes and ended up getting up and leaving as she didn’t come back and continued to sit with her friend. Amazing experience here. We are on the end of our trip and have been feeling so tired and worn down. We walked to Sofianos from our accommodations and both feel revived. The place is gorgeous. Customer service exceeded expectations. I think it is the owner who helped us, he made sure we were comfortable and even had English menus. 😊 We ordered one of the Greek and one of the English breakfasts. Both amazing. Pricing was spot on and a ton of food for only 12 Euros a piece. It also includes coffee and juice! The Greek coffee was a treat and strong! Exactly what I needed! Before we ordered, we were also brought a pastry/donut filled with Nutella. After this long journey, this place heightened both of our moods and we feel ready to start our journey home. This cafe is open most hours of the day so even if you have a late flight, they are open until 3 am. I wish we could stay here longer so we could try them out for dinner and drinks! ...

I stayed in Spata to be close to the airport and I found this gem.This place is amazing! I had a fantastic cocktail - Sofianos cocktail, very well priced and delicious - and because of the service and atmosphere I went back for breakfast which was great as well. The coffee is really nice and comes with a nice little chocolate and a mini croissant. The owner Giorgos is so friendly and welcomed me with the biggest smile, had a chat and checked that everything was okay. His staff are so friendly also. A beautiful place, great food options, reasonable prices, nice friendly service and a genuinely nice owner. A great place for any time of the day. A very memorable place!...
