Capsia Cave Café Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Tripoli

This is a really nice cafe next to the cave, looking out to a beautiful landscape and serving coffees and small meals. The music is very relaxing. The cafe is a separate business to the cave and I feel sorry for the owners having to explain the completely random opening times to people getting there and finding out the cave is closed. In fact, the owners of the cafe are so nice that they give visitors information about the local area so they can go somewhere else and don't feel they have wasted their time! I hope the local council sorts out the cave opening times and makes it easier for visitors to find out when it is actually open so they can plan their visit. That said, the cafe can be a destination in itself as it is so beautiful and relaxing. A big thank you to Thodoris for helping my husband recover after he drove frantically to get us to the cave in time and found it, of course, closed. Lovely cosy place with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent place to have a rest after visiting the cave. We have visited the cave twice so far. Both times we had very pleasant encounters with the personal. People here are great and friendly, they are happy to give you some advice about local sights (that is how we found one very unusual chirch in the area). The food is delicious and not too pricey. Στο καφενείο που επισκεφτήκαμε, οι γεύσεις της κουζίνας μας ενθουσίασαν. Κάθε πιάτο ήταν προσεγμένο και γεμάτο γεύση, με υλικά φρέσκα και τοπικά. Η ατμόσφαιρα ήταν ζεστή και φιλόξενη, ιδανική για να απολαύσεις το γεύμα σου.
