It is with great sadness to leave a negative review for one of our favourite restaurants in Athens. We are a young couple (late 20s) and we discovered this place over a year and since then we have been visiting it almost every weekend, not just as a couple but also with different groups of friends because we were so excited to share it with others.

Unfortunately on the 25th of March, and after supporting this restaurant for so long and creating a positive word of mouth wave of appreciation for it we were disappointed.

We visited without a reservation because we intented to stay for an hour and a half for some refreshments and maybe breakfast and frankly we didnt think we would need it because it has always been empty when we visit. The woman who greeted us, who is a regular employee and has served us many times before was very polite and told us that they were fully booked due to March 25th holiday but she would ask further if they could accommodate us. She went in, asked another woman and we heard her in an impolite way refuse to accommodate us because i suppose we would disrupt their plans. Afterwards she came out and bluntly told us herself that she is waiting for 100 people and she could not make breakfast just for us. That was it, we were not offered any alternatives so we left. Just to be clear we never demanded they make something just for us, we just asked if they had a table - nothing more nothing less.

The restaurant should be grateful for the customers that support them even at their lowest days. Most of the times that we visited it before it was empty, but today they didnt need us because they had their 100 people reservations so they could treat us that way. To sum up our issue was with the rude woman who belittled us by implying that we are not as important as the 100 reservations that she already had. She could have offered an alternative by providing a table with just refreshments or just mention that "breakfast menu" is not available at this time. Or she could have just politely send as off without the extra talk about not being able to cook breakfast just for us (we never demanded they cook just for us). I dont think she would have treated us the same way if we were an older couple or a bigger company of people.

We wont be coming back, we wish them the best because they clearly try really hard to become a refined professional restaurant. Our advice, improve your customer service skills and maybe one day you will reach a higher level of...

Maybe my expectations were high after reading about this place. The website sells this ‘farm to fork’ restaurant very well but I really believe not much vegetables or fruits make it to the kitchen from their garden.

Before entering the restaurant we had a little walk around the garden. It’s not well maintained, kinda looks like an abandoned place. Playground was closed. Very few tomato, pepper plants, some salad, lettuce etc. Little cute pond however with fences around. The more you walk you realize that no one really takes care of it. Rotten tomatoes , figs on the floor, poor chickens locked in a small place with dirty water. (Not to mention 3 rooster in one spot) Rubbish everywhere!

When we decided to have a coffee a gentleman welcomed us. The table I chose was not available but at least an other 30 tables were available, apparently it was fully booked and he showed us two tables in the back. The coffee was very nice and the cheese pie was super delicious. We stayed over an hour and only one table arrived.

The whole experience was very disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend to come as I believe it’s not true as they advertise it. Nothing advertised on their website matched our experience...

Ισως πρωτη φορα που μπηκα στη διαδικασια να διαβασω τοσες πολλες κριτικες για ενα μερος που θελω να παω.Και πρωτη φορα που θελω να γραψω τοσα γιατι πλεον εχω και προσωπικη εμπειρια. Ο χωρος δεν εχει καποια αρχιτεκτονικη κηπου,χωρις ομως αυτο να ενοχλει.Οτι ειναι κριμα να μην εχει αξιοποιηθει περισσοτερο και ειδικα εφοσον μπορει,ειναι αλλο.Εχεις την αισθηση οτι πηγες για φαγητο σε ενα σπιτι φιλου στο χωριο εαν κατσεις εξω.Εμεις κατσαμε μεσα,λογω ζεστης θελαμε οπωσδηποτε κλιματισμο.Δεν εχει καμια σχεση το μεσα με το εξω,σου δινει την αισθηση διαφορετικου μαγαζιου,παλι ομως χωρις να σε πειραζει.Το προσωπικο ευγενικο και εξυπηρετικο,θα ηταν ωραιο να ειναι πιο χαμογελαστο.Ισως εχουν επηρεαστει απο ολη την τοξικοτητα που βγαζει ολος ο κοσμος στα σχολια. Δε θα σταθω τοσο στις γατες ,αν και μπορω να καταλαβω καποιον να τον ενοχλει να εχει μια γατα να ανεβαινει πανω του ενω τρωει.Ειδικα εαν δεν εχει καποια εξοικιωση.Οι μυγες ειναι ενα μεγαλο αρνητικο.Το μοναδικο για μενα προσωπικα.Μας εφερε αμεσως ενας υπαλληλος ενα γκατζετακι που το τοποθετησε στο τραπεζι και ειχε αποτελεσμα,δεν πηγαιναν στο φαγητο,αλλα συνεχισαν να ερχονται πανω μας. Το φαγητο ηταν πεντανοστιμο!(θα ξεχασουμε στο τελος τον λογο που γραφουμε!!)Τα αξιζει τα 5 αστερια γιατι εδω αξιολογουμε το φαγητο.Θα μου αρεσε να μην ειναι μετρημενες αυστηρα, οι μικρες σχετικα ,φετες ψωμιου,που ηταν ζυμωτο και πολυ νοστιμο.Το κατσικακι με τις ανυπερβλητες πατατες αποκαλυψη!Η κολοκυθοτυροπιτα που πετυχαμε σαν πιτα ημερας παρα πολυ ωραια και μεγαλο κομματι!Παραγγειλαμε και δευτερο! Κολυκυθοκεφτεδες νοστιμοι και με πολυ ωραια σως.Τα μανιταρια πεντανοστιμα!Προσωπικα μου αρεσουν παρα πολυ καλα ψημενα οπως και ηταν!Δεν αρεσουν σε ολους ετσι,ισως μπορει καποιος να το διευκρινησει προς αποφυγη παρεξηγησεων.Το ιδιο και με το μπιφτεκι. Επειδη καπου διαβασα και για τις μεριδες, να σημειωσω εδω οτι ειναι γενναιες.Μικροτερη καπως θα ελεγα την μεριδα με το μοσχαρακι με την μελιτζανα(δε θυμαμαι το ονομα!παραθετω φωτο)δεν ηταν ομως μικρη.Επισης πολυ νοστιμο πιατο. Θεωρω παρα πολυ σωστη την πολιτικη που εχει υιοθετησει το μαγαζι για τα παιδια.Και το γεγονος οτι μπηκε στην διαδικασια να την αλλαξει μετα απο τοσα χρονια λειτουργίας και με ρισκο να χασει πελατεια σημαινει οτι δεν εχουμε καμια παιδεια και το βλεπουμε δυστυχως παρα πολλες φορές στις εξόδους μας έξω με τά παιδιά μας.Δεν ειναι παιδοτοπος ενα εστιατοριο και κανενας δεν ειναι υποχρεωμενος να ανεχτει την κακη διαπαιδαγωγηση που εχει κανει καποιος στο παιδι του με κοστος την ηρεμια και την απολαυση μιας εξοδου ενος αλλου ανθρωπου. Εν κατακλειδι,ενας ηρεμος πρασινος χωρος!Ενα εστιατοριο με φαγητο που αξιζει να πας να απολαυσεις.Α!Ένα κέρασμα στο τέλος,είναι πάντα ωραιο,μου έλειψε. Δε θα καταλάβω ποτε τους ανθρωπους που σας ευχονται να κλεισετε...εαν δε σας αρεσει μπορείτε να πάτε αλλου. Ελεος κάπου δηλαδη με...
