Crete – the real deal

Let me keep it short: my wife and I left both happy and full after visiting this little gem of a taverna.

We simply let the waiter — with his cool, laid-back hippie vibe — choose everything for us. From which beer I should go for, to which fish ended up on the table. He clearly enjoyed the responsibility, and rewarded us with a spot-on selection.

To top it all off, we were treated with complimentary fruit and a little gewesen — the perfect ending to a perfect meal. And the price? Way cheaper than anything up on the north coast.

If you like Real Greek food in a fabulous setting, right next to the sea, then you should visit this place. Ask for the specials (not on the menu), different every day, freshly prepared and all very tasty. Meat, fish and vegetarian options. The local wine is very pleasant and not expensive. Very friendly service and the usual free dessert and Raki after the meal. You're bound to go back here...
