Amazing!
Tavari is generally a cute little beach village, not touristy, not crowded. It's on the beachfront promenade, among nice bars with meze and fisherman's houses.
Now, to the food: The fried seafood ( prawns, calamari, fish, sardines) portion for two was huuuge and very fresh, so tasty. Fresh salted tuna- the most delicate tuna I ever had before, decent size slices ( 2 big pieces in 1 portion). Marinated anchovies - homemade, fresh, tasty, loved it. Greek salad - fresh veggies directly from the garden and local feta. Zucchini fritters - huge portion, super good. Grilled huge slices of eggplant- delicious! Surprise ice cream at the end of the meal. The service was impeccable, very welcoming. Made us want to come back as soon as possible. All of this, ( they have a very wide variety of fish and it's all fresh), plus 3 beers and half liter of wine - 70 euros for 4 people.
Highly...
Read moreThe food was fresh and delicious, service was friendly and fast. We had grilled sardines (fresh and perfectly grilled), fava, fried calamari, Greek salad, lakerda, zucchini flowers, crab salad, all very delicious, 2 bottles of barbayanni ouzo and paid 60 euros. The portions were quite big. Real value for the money and one of the best Greek food we’ve had on this trip. There’s Greek music playing on the background and the volume is at a level which doesn’t disturb you but creates a nice atmosphere. Highly...
