One of the worst experiences in Greece I've ever had. They served a 'Gyros plate' but the seasoning was too salty and entirely mismatched. The meat was of poor quality and didn't look like Gyros at all. There were even inedible pieces inside the meat! The pita bread is not so well-cut and under the Gyros making it very hard to even eat the bread. The tomatoes were lukewarm suggesting it was held under a temperature that is too high for vegetables. The view of the restaurant is nice but all is said and done with that. You need to climb an entire hill to get to the first tables. Next to that, the tables are under trees so there are a ton of bugs and flies. Me and my food got attacked by flies and the only thing the waiter managed to say was: "it's better at other places". Yes, I knew that already! The drinks were served cold but that's all there is to it. The glasses weren't frosted, there were no ice cubes, no straw, no slice of lemon, nothing! Entirely plain without any imagination or fantasy behind it. The lettuce was of poor quality too, there were holes in it and it was clearly only meant as decoration because I'd declare it inedible. Some of the pita breads were slightly burned on the backside too... Overall, I'm completely unsatisfied with my experience unfortunately. I'm not planning on going back here again, even if they are the only place to go to at Psilli Amos beach. Because yes, one last thing: they monopolize the entire beach as the only place immediately on it and the quality is severely...
Read moreVery nice location, nice view, but poor service and low quality food. while we were there (evening, around 8:00pm), they were busy repainting, not thinking of moving us or painting another part further from us. Smell was noticeable, although not continuously food was very low quality, to the point I was happy to see none of us got sick afterwards when bringing the money to them (waiting 15 minutes for someone to pick it up), I had to request for the change (over 7 euros), and got told "sorry, didn't remember how much it was" price was quite high compared to the other nearby restaurants, even without taking the quality into account. Overall, with the location, it could be very nice,...
Read moreAmazing food! We go to Psili Ammos every day when we are in Samos. Wonderful Greek comfort food cooked and served by the very nice family who runs the place. If you like homecooked Greek food this is the place for you. Relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views of the beach and the sea. Be sure to try today's special, for example soutzoukakia or lamb baked in the oven. They also have wonderful grilled fresh fish, for example tsipoura (dourade). We'll be back next year!!! The food in the photos are sea food pasta and fried shrimp from...
