We ordered "choriatiki" salad and they brought it to us without feta cheese. I went inside to ask why and they told me they don't have. That's ok but if I didn't ask they would just leave it as it is. I told them so and the owner and his wife start yelling at me in front of everyone around for no reason! I have never met such an awful behaviour before, it was unbelievable that this was happening. The owners' wife even said that I should be happy that they don't have any because that means that they had many people to eat there before and they run out. WHAT??Like we share the profit of the store! Don't give your money to places like this, Mytikas has a lot of nice restaurants with nice people to offer really nice food. (The food here was also not good mainly due to the bad taste of the oil they use and the undercooked fish) One star goes for the nice location and one for the kind and polite boys at the service. Will not go ever again and do not...

Yesterday, while sailing the Ionian Sea, I dropped anchor at Café Ouzeri o Paharos — and what a discovery it was.
Perched like a lighthouse above the waves, this charming taverna offers not only one of the best views along the coast but also an authentic taste of the sea itself. Here, the catch of the day is not just a phrase — you literally choose your fish fresh from the ice, and they clean and grill it right in front of you.
The result? A perfectly grilled fish — smoky, tender, and as fresh as the sea breeze. No unnecessary frills, just local mastery.
This place isn’t trying to impress with theatrics — it wins you over with simplicity, hospitality, and a setting that makes time stand still. If you’re sailing these waters, do yourself a favor: stop by this “lighthouse” for honest homemade food and an atmosphere that captures the soul...
Read moreAn idyllic setting with a wonderful family running the show. This restaurant has everything going for it. It could be a movie set and the food is just incredible. The guy came ashore with a box of freshly caught fish. We picked what we wanted and he filleted them while standing in the sea and 25 minutes later we enjoyed the freshest, most perfectly cooked fish I have ever eaten. I expect that some things on the menu may not be available, but that's because everything is fresh. Perhaps the person who complained doesn't understand that the fish won't jump out of the water as they order them! I found the service to be prompt yet not rushed. It would not have mattered if it had been slow because the view and atmosphere were fantastic. Just go there. It is a...
