Faidimos — Restaurant in Oreokastro Municipality

With one word.. superb!! Everything was perfect. The food, the staff, the place, everything!! Fresh and tasty salads, delicious meat varieties, unique appetizers, everything is simply perfect. The place is very beautiful and the lack of outdoor seating is covered with the decoration inside, which is like a yard. Lovely idea! I have to note that the chef knows how to grill perfect rare and medium-rare steaks, which is almost impossible to find in Greece and also that the portions are huge! Be prepared and very hungry! It's my favorite spot in Thessaloniki!...

A great example of the power of trip adviser. The restaurant was full of tourists. Clever decor,intrusive,scruffy and miserable staff. Limited drinks menu, no spirits. Food large portions, over seasoned to the point of being inedible. Cheap and low quality produce. Smokers inside. One of my party stated worst meal has eaten in years. Chicken kebab with pineapple? No locals eating there during our visit. Not worthy of its rating or the energy to find it in a run down street with a live rock band venue opposite. Every one of my five senses left...

The food here is simply divine and the owner is delightful. I came here with my family to celebrate our last night in Greece and was certainly not disappointed. The pancetta was probably my favorite dish and when we were through with our meal, the owner brought out a free desert of what I think was flourless cherry chocolate cake which may have been the single most delicious thing I have had in this country (which is saying a lot because I have eaten many incredible meals here over the past two weeks).
