I used to visit this place decades ago when it was an alternative-style beach and beach bar mostly for the younger. Little I knew after I came back to visit again as a now Greek from abroad. From all of the beaches around the area this is probably now the worst in regards to the level of hospitality and service quality received. It seems that they run a first class and second class customer selection practice. If you pass their face and social class control threshold you can sit at the bar, if not, you get told that the chairs in front are already reserved and you must sit at the far rocky end of the beach. Furthermore for every single thing you order you are asked to first pay in advance as if you will run away with your coffee or cocktail, plus there is an obvious staff discomfort if you'd want to pay by card (instead of cash). For comparison, other local beaches just send you the final bill at the end of your visit. To be fair, the bar is nice looking and well maintained but there are many other beaches nearby with equally nice or even better beach bars without these disgraceful cons. Shame on you guys. You keep the worst side of modern Greek business...

I recently made a reservation for 4 sunbeds at Almyra Beach Bar and Restaurant in Nea Peramos, Greece (15.08.2023). However, upon arrival, my group and I were informed that we could only have 2 sunbeds and a single umbrella, despite our reservation clearly stating 4 sunbeds. This discrepancy led to a frustrating start to our day. The lack of proper seating for all four of us left us dissatisfied with the service provided. We were looking forward to enjoying a relaxing day at the beach, but unfortunately, the venue's inability to accommodate our reservation left us with a negative impression. As paying customers, we expected better communication and adherence to our reservation details. This experience certainly did not meet our expectations, and we ultimately decided to leave. It's disappointing when a well-anticipated outing turns sour due to service inconsistencies. We hope that Almyra Beach Bar and Restaurant takes customer reservations more seriously in the future to avoid similar situations. Our visit was far from the enjoyable beach day we...

Overpriced and unfair use. The beach is nice, in that it is part of a semi natural harbour, so swimmers are protected from stronger waves. However, the sand is coarse, the sea goes deep quick and there's a lot of rocks in part of it. Overall, not very inviting. The facilities are well organised and maintained and appealing to the eye. Clean toilets, which is a bonus given the current situation. The music is not too loud and staff are polite enough (for Greece).

Given the quality of the beach and sand, I would say the beach bar is positively overpriced.

In addition, when we arrived, we took one of a couple of bigger beds, only to be immediately informed that the particular bed had a minimum consumption of €150! We moved to one of the smaller beds where we ordered coffee (3x €5!). I am convinced that some of the groups arriving after us were not asked to pay that minimum, which is very disappointing, but also very typical...

We had a hard time finding a parking spot which did not put the car at risk of being scratched. There are few sundbeds unfortunately and if you arrive by midday there is no chance to find one available. We sat on the sofas but it was nice because the palm trees kept us in the shadow in a torid day. It was difficult to order an iced latte which i found hugely overpriced for too little quantity of coffee really. I went to the bar, they told me i have to wait for the waiter then once she came i could only pay, then wait about 15-20 minutes and she still did not bring it to me so i had to go back to the bar and ask for it. The music is nice, mostly techno but enjoyable. Restrooms/changing cabins are clean but there is absolutely no light inside, pitch dark which is quite uncomfortable.

Beach is nice , cristal water , rocks around , music is chill but sand is dusty (maybe due to construction behind the bar). On Thursday last week it was not busy and we went there without a reservation - there is a minimum consumption of €40 for 2 sunbeds. Host was very polite. Service is slow (we were waiting 30min for a sandwich), food is average comparing to previous years we have been there but drinks were good - great homemade lemonade and Moccachino. Bear in mind that if you want to order something from the restaurant menu you need to go there , they could not serve you on the beach. Parking is not big and even during the week we didn’t find a spot so we parked up where there is no shade.
