I didn't want to give a rating below 3 because I really love the Paggaio area and Greece. The restaurant doesn't give you what we love in the country. You don't feel the freedom, the relaxedness and the hospitality, but the place wants to make you feel excessive service and exclusivity, but somehow this is exactly how the wonderful environment loses its charm. The song of the cicadas is drowned out by loud music, the emphasis on drinks and service is at the expense of the food. You get the feeling that the place doesn't want to have the atmosphere of a Greek tavern. But then why are there dogs and cats in the restaurant? Then is it exclusive or not? If the food isn't perfect, why is it expensive? One of the dishes served was below criticism. The grilled squid should either be taken off the menu or you need to learn how to cook it. Although I am only a squid fisherman, I know much better than this and there are about 10 restaurants in the surrounding area that serve better squid. It was simply completely raw. I have been planning to visit the restaurant for two years, but now I won't go for at least two years. Or never. The saying that sometimes less is more is very true here. If you want to be pampered, go for it, but if you want to eat something good, don't plan on going to this restaurant. Well, if you want to eat mille-feuille, it's...
Read moreAn absolutely wonderful place, like a small hidden paradise surrounded by nature. The atmosphere is truly special, lots of greenery, beautiful and thoughtful decor, peaceful and calming. You immediately feel like you’ve escaped everyday life and arrived somewhere you can fully relax. The food is an explosion of flavors. Everything is fresh, high quality and presented with so much care. It’s almost too pretty to eat, but far too delicious not to. Every dish feels like a small work of art. The service is fantastic. The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely friendly. You feel welcome and well looked after from the very first moment. While waiting for the food, you can simply enjoy the beautiful setting, the music and the peaceful atmosphere of nature. One of the most charming details, from time to time, cats and dogs wander casually between the tables, making the place feel even more relaxed and lively. We loved it so much that we went back again just a few days later. It’s definitely a place you want...
Read moreThe overall experience at Bostani was great. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a pleasant setting for dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive, though service could be a bit quicker at times. The food was enjoyable overall, but the tarama mousse and tiro were quite different from the traditional recipes I’m used to, and I personally prefer the classic preparation.
After my visit, I realized there was a mistake on the bill, and I mentioned it in my review. The owner personally contacted me late at night to apologize, explain the error, and offer to return the overcharged amount. This gesture showed genuine care for customers and a strong commitment to service. It’s rare to see this level of attention, and I truly appreciate it.
I would recommend Bostani for its ambiance and service, especially knowing that the management takes customer...
