Diktamo Restaurant — Restaurant in Paggaio Municipality

We stayed for 5 days on vacation in Ofrinio. This restaurant captivated us from the first night we visited. The food is unique, prepared to perfection, the staff is kind, smiling and always helpful with questions about the menu. Every day I went to our restaurant for a Greek salad (a nice big portion), pork skewer (uniquely prepared perfectly seasoned and tender meat), fried zucchini with sauce, pork ribs and last night I tried a large pork chop (it is really big but unique)! The service is fast, when you order, bread and water are brought immediately which is wonderful because it is quite hot here and you always need water! The staff all speak English and to my surprise there is a waiter who also speaks Bulgarian, there is even a Bulgarian girl (very nice and smiling), and special thanks to the elderly waiter who knows Bulgarian, on our last night in Greece we were a little late for our restaurant and he let us eat our favorite things for last which was very kind of him. He always recommends and explains the menu which for me is a professional! After you order your bill you are given a compliment of small ice creams which is a very nice gesture for me! There was a boy who carried huge signs with empty plates and glasses on three fingers which impressed me a lot (generally they are all professionals). A slightly unpleasant impression on Friday night was there was a girl who was a hostess who was definitely not in the mood for customers. She was on her phone all evening and didn't help anyone with their work, and when it was time for dessert we called a boy to ask what was available and at the moment he was explaining to us about desserts she came and said something to him in Greek and pulled him away from our table to give him work to do, she didn't even apologize for interrupting us or if she had stayed to help us order she just turned around with the boy and went to the door to look at her phone (I felt very uncomfortable as if it didn't matter what we wanted because there was something more important than us at the moment, very unpleasant and ugly on her part.... I don't think she knows what her job is in this restaurant) after a while she decided to pick up two dirty glasses from a neighboring table when it was covered in things to clean and just waited for her colleagues to finish cleaning. On Thursday night there was a very nice boy who was the host, he invited us into the restaurant and tried to find us a table even though the restaurant was full with a smile and responsiveness. Great restaurant by the sea. A few things made a strong impression on me.

On my way to the beach around 5pm, I pass the restaurant and make a reservation for three for 7:30pm. We then go there with the idea of ​​explaining that we have a reservation, and people meet us at the entrance and point to the reserved table, they obviously remember and the reservation is not just a few letters on a piece of paper.

We sit at the table, and there is a menu in Bulgarian waiting for us, as before I didn't say where I'm from, but obviously I'm not Greek :)

Then - high-level service, delicious food, and a compliment from the restaurant for dessert - mini ice creams, which the toddler was very happy about. On top of everything, the prices are not high - normal, like in other places in the city.
