The view at this spot is really lovely. You can see Antiparos and a few small boats in the marina. It is also where the Antiparos ferry comes and goes. Around 10pm when we went, it was easy to park and very calm out.
While we didn’t order from it, there is a fresh fish display where you can see what they have available.
To start we ordered some bread with a Greek salad. The bread was slightly toasted with a drizzle of oil and some herbs for seasoning. It was delicious and paired well with the Greek salad. The salad had nice chunks of tomato, two nice slices of feta with seasoning on top and bell pepper, red onion and olives scattered within.
To eat, I had the orzo with shrimps. The heads were presliced making it fairly easy to eat apart from the tails. A side bowl for the shells would have helped, but it wasn’t a big deal.
My partner had the grilled calamari. It was slightly charred and rich with flavor. A bit of lemon on top and this was another win.
After we finished, they offered us yoghurt with carrots on the house. We had never had this so gave it a try. The carrots had been cooked somehow in a sweet syrup so they had a candied flavor to them. It was a really simple, yet amazingly delicious dessert. Great find 💯 recommended

Read moreThe food was excellent, but the overall experience was seriously let down by poor service.
We had to ask twice for our cocktails, only to be told there was no tomato juice for the one I ordered — and that I’d need to take a mojito instead. Moments later, we were brought the original mojito we had ordered, and then told they had found some tomato juice and my cocktail would be ready in one minute. It finally arrived ten minutes later.
Our main courses were served before the cocktails, and my fish was left on the table for five minutes while we were still eating our starters. When the waiter finally came to debone it, he said he had been “late” — even though the fish had already been sitting there. He clearly had time to do it earlier. This reflected a serious lack of coordination.
For dessert, I picked the chocolate option, which turned out to be unavailable. I was then offered a sorbet instead — which also wasn’t available. That was the last straw.
The food itself was truly very good, and the kitchen shows real talent. But the service was disorganized and inconsistent throughout. From what we observed, the real issue seems to be a lack of communication, coordination, and overall management. At this level, it simply...
Read moreOur dinner at Porfyra in Punda, Paros was an unforgettable experience and easily one of the best meals we had on the island. From the warm welcome to the last bite of dessert, everything was flawless.
The menu is a perfect mix of traditional Greek cuisine and modern creativity. The carpaccio was a standout — delicate, flavorful, and beautifully plated. We also loved the saganaki, which was perfectly golden and had just the right balance of richness and texture. Every dish was crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients and presented with real attention to detail.
The setting is elegant yet relaxed, making it ideal for both a romantic evening or a relaxed night out with friends. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their recommendations were spot-on, and the service was impeccable throughout the evening.
