We stayed for 3 nights in this remote village of Psarades at the Guesthouse Syntrofia and wished it could have been longer. Friendly hosts, the room was clean, comfortable and equipped with A/C, TV, fridge and en-suite.||Breakfast - was huge, with a different selection served each morning, such as meats, eggs, cheeses, omelettes and toasties. We also ate here in the evening which again was excellent, again huge portions and good value, we didn't feel the need to try elsewhere in the village.||The guesthouse also owns a small speed boat where they run trips to the frescos and monasteries along the edge of the lake. One of which we stopped to visit (Hermitage of Panayia Eleoussa), which was a bit of a climb up the steps - but well worth it.||The other highlights of this area was the wildlife - pelicans, egrets, tortoises plus much more.||We hope one day to return to this lovely remote part of Greece and Syntrofia is where...

The family who runs the guesthouse was really helpful and kind. |The taverna was amazing and we ate there both nights, also because many places were still closed. I do think we were the only two tourist in the whole village and the calmness and nature restored body and soul. I could only recommend it, we payed 110€ for two nigths + two amazing dinners and breakfast. I do recommend to eat breakfast there,because the portions are so big you don't need lunch afterwards.||There are many hikes that can be done from here, we did the one that take four hours.
