I hate to be the first to leave fewer than a 5 star review but ....
My husband and I tried this restaurant last night 6/7, the sunset and view are magnificent.
The restaurant is sparsely decorated, a little too empty and without character for my taste, needs a few plants or decorative items to make it more personal and inviting. The crockery, though, makes up for it, what beautiful bowls and plates!
OK, now to the food we ordered and service ... The waiter was attentive and polite, he brought us bread and water with a little butter/peppercorn spread, he did this without asking us, I was surprised to see that there were 3 charges of €1.50 on the bill ... an extra €4.50 added to the bill, which we hadn't asked for (we took the water home with us)
We ordered the horta salad which was fresh and tasty and for main I had linguini seafood, my husband had the cuttlefish ink risotto. My pasta was way too saucy, so much sauce that the taste was quite overpowering, I have seen photos on here of the same dish without the 'soupy sauce' so maybe it was just a one-off mistake, who knows? My husband loved his risotto. We also had the Malagousia house wine, which is sold in 750ml bottles at €12, very nice wine. My husband also had a beer and the bill came to €55 Overall, a good first impression of a new place, would I try again, yes, would I order the linguine again, probably not. Good luck with the new restaurant and I hope I can add the missing star on my next visit.
EDIT: Thank you for your reply, please find attached the 'receipt' you gave us which says 1.50 x 3 times. Also I did say 'for my taste' concerning decoration, just a personal opinion . Good luck and I hope to...
Read moreI honestly cannot describe how tasty each dish was and how amazing the location of this place is. Starters, salad and main courses were brilliant, the wine paired everything perfectly, super friendly staff and location pure magic. I also have to mention the amazing handmade ceramic tableware. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area and want to taste Greek cuisine with a twist using local produce. We've been there...
