If you are looking for a (fish) tavern by the sea this is hands down one of the most unique places you can in Central Macedonia. And I’m choosing my words very carefully here! Rarely do one finds such an exceptional quality paired with amazing service at reasonable price ranges. Before looking at the menu ask the owner about the catch of the day and the recommended recipes. We had sea bass, shrimps, tuna salad (with fresh tuna) and mussels - all so simple yet all so tasteful. If you want something even more unique (that special tuna recipe you never knew you wanted), Nikos has you covered. Give them a call 1-2 days before your visit and get ready to be surprised. We stopped for a night near this place on our way to Corfu. We decided to eat at this place and i am glad we did. First of all, the food was really tasty and there was huge portions. Arrivati in camper a Metone per sostare la notte, ci era già apparsa sul map questa taverna, ci ha ispirato subito e siamo andati a cena. Posto bellissimo con tavoli colorati sotto un pergolato di alberi che danno sul mare del Delta di quell'area naturale, ricco di uccelli tra cui pellicani, aironi cenerini e bianchi e cormorani...siamo stati accolti benissimo da tutti, io sono vegana e si sono prodigati per soddisfarmi in tutti i modi, perfino una vellutata di fave fuori menù! Il mio compagno ha mangiato pesce buonissimo alla griglia e la feta al forno una leccornia! La signora parlava inglese e ci ha seguito personalmente nella scelta, Nikos di una simpatia sorriso e affetto unici! La mattina dopo siamo ripassati e ci siamo salutati abbracciati e preso olio d'oliva e omaggiati del loro buon vino! Esperienza di quelle rare nella qualitá umana, nel cibo eccellente, nei sapori veri, nella sincerità del cuore!
