Barba Stergios — Restaurant in Serres Municipality

This was my worst experience in an European restaurant so far. The manager was irritated and rude from the beginning. Don’t know why he was so stressed because the place was nearly empty. Unfortunately this was the only restaurant that was open around my hotel this sunday. Besides of the fact that the meat was black burned and the salad was spoiled with an overdose of mayonaise, they made me pay double the price. Although I pointed at the small portions on the menu, I received portions for three persons. When I said something about that, that same manager got quite aggressive. They made me pay the bill for the order I didn’t make.

One of the top 3 gyros I’ve ever had in Greece – absolutely delicious! This place is a hidden gem, perfect for grabbing a spectacular gyro right before exiting the country. The flavors were spot on, the portion was generous, and the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The location itself is clean and welcoming, with a large parking area that makes stopping here super convenient. Highly recommended for anyone heading out of Greece and craving one last amazing taste of authentic Greek...

Το αστέρι το έβαλα γιατί πρέπει . Κανονικά κανένα αστέρι. Κάποιος εκεί μέσα ηταν αγενεστατος Λες και μας έκανε χάρη που θα φάμε στο μαγαζί εκεί . Μίλησε με απαράδεκτο τρόπο. Εμείς πηραμε κάτι φοβερά δύσκολο να ετοιμαστεί,θα τον κουραζαμε.θα του τρώγαμε την ώρα του με δύο κλαμπ σάντουιτς,για τα οποία μας είπε αγενεστατα ,(τι κλάμπ;;;;;; Εδώ έχουμε πολλά.. )με τρόπο λες και του θίξαμε τα κλάμπ σάντουιτς. Συγνώμη φίλε που δε ξέραμε ότι έχεις πολλά . Ας τα έλεγες. Τέλος πάντων καθίσαμε εκεί. Τα κλάμπ (αλλαντικών πήραμε τελικά) ήρθαν γρήγορα αλλά κρύα. Οι πατάτες ήταν τουλάχιστον μιας ώρας τηγανισμένες. Μέσα σε όλα ακολούθησε και μια ταμπέλα που έχει εκει που έγραφε να μη ταιζουμε τα αδέσποτα διότι υπάρχει κίνδυνος ατυχηματος. Για όποιον λογο κ να έχει εκεί την επιγραφή,εμένα με στραβωσε πάρα πολύ καθώς υπήρχαν εκεί δύο μικρά σκυλάκια τα οποία ,με τη ταμπέλα δε με άφηνε να τα ταισω. Τελικά δεν φάγαμε τα κλάμπ , δεν ήταν τόσο καλά γευστικά και η όλη συμπεριφορά συνδυαστικά με έκανε να έχω τη χειρότερη αποψη. Έχω πάει σε κάποια μαγαζιά εδώ και σε παααρα πολλά στην Αθήνα (από εκεί είμαι ) τέτοιο χάλι δεν έχω ξαναδεί. Κρίμα ,χαλάει τη καλή εικόνα της περιοχής. Δεν το προτείνω σε κανέναν φυσικά και...
