Like a Tale of Two cities we arrived to a tale of the best and the worst of lunches. The Sea Bass was the standout winner with the flesh being succulent, fresh and incredibly moreish, however the slaw with balsamic reduction served with it made absolutely no sense whatsoever. The fried calamari was a complete let down, 12 pieces of slightly tough tasteless invertebrate served with the same slaw and balsamic reduction did not want a €14.5 price tag warrant. Being served a Mythos draft in a glass so cold it made snowflakes in the beer was like a having a fairy godmother make my wish come true after 45 mins on an ATV on dirt track. Tzatziki was well seasoned with the mint and lemon coming through nocely, but the crouton salad was huge and buried us, something best shared between 4 people. Be careful with the water that is opened as soon as you sit down, it's not complimentary and you might want to decline the fake...

It’s quite a faff to get to along a dirt track. Fine in a normal car but take it slowly.
Terrible service. One of the waiters was dismissive to rude. We waited 20-30 minutes before they came to ask if we wanted anything. Clearly it’s more important to wash the glasses than serve customers.
Food ok but not great.
There are references to swarms of flies in some of the other reviews. I’ve never seen anything like it. Really unpleasant. The grumpy waiter just told us “eat faster”. Nice! The other waiter (much nicer / more helpful) gave us a smoke deterrent thing which helped.
I think we were probably unlucky. It’s a really cool looking place and the other reviews are generally amazing and the person who recommended it has epic taste. Things happen - will try again and hope it’s a...
Read moreWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE ISLAND. We were regular customers generously spending for food there. We had the most expensive fish and some costly bottles just two weeks ealier. Had a table for 14 reserved for lunch there and arrived earlier. We sat on the table and asked for simple drinks they didn’t want us to give before 12 o clock for this day. We asked for drinks again at noon but they still didn’t want to give us anything but water telling 13 o clock. They then throw us out of the taverna asking us to wait under the umbrellas on the beach until then. Staying there they came by after 5min to charge us for the sunbeds. We then had an argument with the extremely inpolite and greedy owner who lacks basic sensibility on how to treat a customer. Very bad educated person. We left and...
