If caring & compassion was a restaurant it would be here: the motor on my electric scooter gave out a few meters after I passed the restaurant. I stopped in to eat and immediately felt at home. The food is simple, yet delicious. The wine is well paired and full of character. The deserts are excellent, and all of the food is locally sourced from the villages around Pelion. The owner Anastassia is one of the kindest and most compassionate people I have met: she is the mother of the three cats that will great you as you sit at your table, they know only love and compassion because that has been their upbringing since Anastassia saved them after their mother passed. Truly wonderful atmosphere, very pet friendly, great food, kind service! I recommend to anyone who has the chance to visit this tavern.

The revithokeftedes (sort of like a flattened chickpea version of meatballs), is a staple and you should definitely try it out. Really good flavours all around the "Mageirefta" which are the non grilled options for main courses that usually involve roast dishes, casserole dishes, stews etc.

Reasonable and cheap prices, and great variety too! It's a place I've been revisiting ever since I was a child, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon.
