Not recommended with little kids, unless you want them to be scared or mistreated by the waitresses. (Our kids are 2 and 4 years old.)
We visited this restaurant with our children. The food was fine, but what happened afterwards was unacceptable. About seven stray cats were roaming between the tables, asking for food. Our kids dropped some food for them, which we didn’t notice at first. A young waiter with a moustache rudely told us not to feed the cats. Fair enough, we told the kids to stop.
After we finished eating and were preparing to leave, we had to watch the kids not to touch or chase the cats. Anyone with small children knows it’s not always easy to control them perfectly. While I was paying at the main door, the moustached waiter again rudely tried to control the kids, although they don’t speak English.
Then a blonde waitress (around 50 years old woman) crouched down, grabbed our 2-year-old son by the T-shirt, and shook him, saying: “See? That’s how the cats feel.” Our son doesn’t even speak English. She then looked at my wife to translate it. For clarity: our boy never hurt the cats, he only wanted to pet them—we have a cat at home as well.
We were shocked. Afterwards she tried to comfort the children and asked for a high five, but they were almost in tears. I picked up my son and we left.
The worst part is that she touched and shook a customer’s child. This is absolutely beyond acceptable.
This happened on 13.09.2025 around 15:30–15:40 at the main door, in case the owner wants to investigate.
The brown-haired lady and the younger man were very kind, and we even left a tip before the incident. However, the blonde lady and the young waiter with the moustache and braces need to learn some manners—especially in a...
Read moreWe were here yesterday (09.13.) My husband wrote a fair opinion about the service and the waitress, who grabbed our son and shake him, because he wanted to pet the cats. The restaurant’s answer was a huge, discusting lie about the situation. Our kids never hurt any animal, my son didn’t deserved the waitress reaction, who shaked my son’s arm heavily. He is 2 years old. He doesn’t speak english. Of course I always moderate my children. And my son scared the cat by ACCIDENT! The waitress shaked him purposely, that’s a big difference… and of course their age gap. They should investigate this situation, not deny it!! They had to apologize, not lie about it. After the restaurant’s respond, not recommend it all! They wrote in the answer to my husband that they told our kids, not scare and chase the cats. This is also not true!! They told them, not to touch and not to feed them! They never even touched the cat’s tails. Wtf this answer We got? I can’t believe this reaction. This incident ruined our last day in our family vacation. The tavern’s responsibility to create an invironment which is safe for both animals and people. We visit restaurants very often with our kids (in foreign country too), never happened anything like this. On the picture there is one of the cats from the restaurant, I think it is a great picture/proof what We think about animals! (After this they told us not to...
Read moreUnfortunately, we forgot that last year we ate here and weren't so pleased, so went again this year and left almost disappointed. It is a nice place, people are welcoming, you have where to park under the trees. One of the ladies raises her voice and sometimes you scare, instead of enjoying the calm atmosphere. The prices are too high for the small portions you receive and this is disappointing because it is tasteful. In the other tavernas you receive much bigger portions and they cost less. We paid 8 euros for 6 pieces of stuffed wine leaves (sarmadakia) and this is absolutely unpleasant. I expected at least double quantity for this price. Check the prices on the photo for what we ate. It was OK as tatse but very small quantities for what's the cost. Nice dessert...
