Gorgona Fish Tavern — Restaurant in Thermaikos Municipality

I probably visited every restaurant in Peraia/ Neoi Epivates beachside area and this place is a disgrace for the Greek people, who were always so hospitable and welcoming. The experience was a horror story from beggining all the way to the end. First we sat at the beach, where half of the sunbeds were broken and waitress got insulted because we asked for a drink list and said there isn’t one. When we sat at the restaurant, I had to hold my hand for 10 minutes, just for the waiter to come and say he is only there for drink orders and to order food from the other guys( who just look straight and god forbid turn their heads). When the guy finally came, he took the order (where they didnt have an item from the menu). When I asked him what is the crab salad because the ingredients were not written down in the menu , his answer was “It’s a crab salad” ( which happened to have 10 ingredients that he didn’t care to mention). Then the hunger games began… We waited 35 minutes in the half empty restaurant, just for the crab salad to arrive. Then another 25 minutes for the shrimps( which was my partners order), then another 15 for my order and in the end FRIED ZUCCHINI WHICH WAS THE STARTER. When I asked for the bill, waited another 10 for that. The last straw was when the waiter said thank you when I gave him money, WITHOUT GIVING ME THE 7€ CHANGE( I would of course tip if I was satisfied). When I asked him for it, it took him another 10 minutes to bring the change. He was probably expecting me to get pissed off and leave, since he was just sitting and not doing anything in the meanwhile. They didn’t even bring us dessert in the end, to enhance this...

Τα σχόλια μου θα είναι καθαρά αντικειμενικά και δεν βασίζονται σε κανένα ψευδές δεδομένο. Καθίσαμε σήμερα για φαγητο στην ταβέρνα. Λόγω Καθαράς Δευτέρας αντιλαμβάνομαι την πολύ δουλειά που είχε και την αργοπορία στην λήψη παραγγελίας. Παραγγείλαμε μια μερίδα καλαμαρακια τηγανητά, μια τσιπουρα σχάρας, μια μερίδα πατατες, μια χωριάτικη, μια κολοκυθάκια τηγανητά, νερό, ρετσινα, κολα. Μετά από 25 λεπτά μας έρχεται η σαλατα και κουβέρ ψωμί το οποίο συγκεκριμένα ήταν λαγάνα (κάτι που δεν παραγγείλαμε εμείς), μετά από 40 λεπτά μας έρχεται η μερίδα πατατες και τα καλαμαρακια και μετά από 15 λεπτά μας έρχεται η τσιπουρα (μέχρι τότε είχαμε χάσει ήδη την όρεξη μας). Τα κολοκυθάκια δεν ήρθαν καθόλου. Ζητάω το λογαριασμό. Καθώς υπήρχε αργοπορία επιλέγω να πληρώσω στο ταμείο όπου ο υπάλληλος της επιχείρησης μου ανέφερε το ποσό των 57,00€. Μου φάνηκε εξαιρετικά παράξενο αλλά δεν ήθελα να γίνω ο παράξενος που αρχίζει κ ελέγχει όλο το λογαριασμό αλλά πρόσεξα δυο πράγματα τα οποία ανέφερα. 6,50€ μας χρέωσαν για λαγάνα την οποία δεν παράγγειλαμε. Κολοκυθάκια τα είχε σημειωμένα και όταν του είπα ότι δεν ήρθαν απλά τα έσβησε από τη λίστα και μου είπε οτι στο άθροισμα δεν τα υπολόγισε. Πείτε μου τώρα εσείς που διαβάζετε τούτη την κριτική πως μια τσιπουρα(μέτριου μεγέθους), μια καλαμαρακια, μια πατατες, μια χωριάτικη, μια ρετσινα και κολα βγαίνουν 57,00€!! Απαράδεκτα ακριβό είτε από λάθος τους είτε εσκεμμένα. Το φαγητό ήταν νοστιμο αλλά η εικόνα που αποκόμισα προσωπικά με κάνει να θέλω να αποφύγω δια πάντως το μαγαζί αυτο. Θα πρότεινα τους πελάτες να διαβάσουν καλά το λογαριασμό πριν πληρώσουν...

At first, I asked for a table and the girl at the desk was super unfriendly and unhelpful, then It took forever to get our order. I really understand the place was busy and the waiters have a lot of work but this was too much. We didn’t get water until an hour later, I had to insist many times to get the menu, the order and even the bill. And the food was not even that great, my dish had hairs :( They do have a nice area near the sea. I think ill return...
