BEST SMASHED BURGER IN THE WHOLE AREA OF TRIKALA!

Absolutely outstanding quality! Unlike many other smashed burger places I’ve been to, where the patties are super thin and the meat gets burnt on the sides, the Route 66 patties are actually thick and extremely juicy!

The diner is run by a brother and sister team on a quiet and unassuming street outside the chaotic centre. Simple and elegant interior together with a rustic street feel. Just the perfect atmosphere to relax while focusing on the flavours and getting energised!

With high quality burgers made from 100% Beef and Angus meat (and perfectly cooked to medium rare) you can actually taste the difference with many kaleidoscopic flavours.

The delicious brioche bun also has the perfect consistency of firmness and buttery airy softness. It holds together without ever getting destroyed while you hold it. A perfect bun!

And unlike other smashed burger places, they also don’t skimp on the toppings inside the burgers…with enough lettuce, tomatoes and pickles that you can actually see and taste!

I also tried the fried chicken and it was amazing! Large pieces and perfectly cooked. Clean and juicy and absolutely succulent…with the perfect amount of crisp! Forget KFC from now on, this is fried chicken done right!!

That’s not all, the homemade sauces are to die for. The Honey Mustard and Route 66 BBQ sauce are truly symphonic!

Ποτέ δεν περίμενα να φαω τοσο ωραίο μπέργκερ και τηγανητο κοτοπουλο στα Τρίκαλα. Ειχα απογοητευτει όλα τα χρόνια μέχρι που δοκίμασα απο route66 και απο τοτε δεν εχω σταματησει να παιρνω απο εκει. Με το που τρως μια μπουκια καταλαβαινεις πως τρως ΠΟΙΟΤΗΤΑ. Απιστευτο beef burger και οταν λενε 100% μοσχαρισιο κιμα το εννοουνε. ψωμακι αφρατουλικο και το στρογγυλο αλλα και το lobster λιωνουν στο στομα..δεν εχω ξανα φαει τετοιο μπεργκερ.. να τρως και να ερεθιζεσσαιιιι!! Το τηγανητο κοτοπουλο τραγανο εξω, ζουμερο μεσα, μοσχοβολαει σε περιμενει ετοιμο να το καταβροχθισεις… Συγχαρητηρια στα παιδια που τα κανουν ολα με αγαπη και χαμογελο.
