Sat 20.07 Disappointing. And it’s not a junky comment. It’s a real one, coming from a family group which spent already 8 years in Greece, and having a good experience on local food and services. Located on one of the most beautiful semi-wild beaches, the restaurant seems to be a welcoming place for decent people enjoying the sound of the sea. However, despite a reservation confirmed few hours in advance, the waiting time for placing the order was 35 minutes. The first round of food arrived before the table was set (no cutlery, no glasses, no water). Our dinner started with side-dishes getting cold while being brought to the table 30 minutes before the main courses arrived. Just for 4 out of 6 of us. The last 2 portions came way too late, almost cold, and at almost half size. To get the bill, we had to wait for another 20 minutes. Instead follow the route that is pointing to the area 'Analipsi' with an arrow. At the end of the road you will still have to follow the beach and don't mistakenly trespass into other people's homes as I almost did 🤪
Food wise everything was as fresh as it can be and cooked to perfection. Even the bread which is usually an afterthought was so tasty. You can even have your lunch next to the sea. What more can you ask for...
Read moreExquisite place! Right next to the sea in a peaceful scenery. The food is wonderful -original tastes of Greece- and the staff very friendly. Don't choose to go via the Google maps suggestion because it gets you there through a narrow, rural road. Better choose the road from the nearby village of Pouri. I'll have to revise my review as of our most recent visit this August (2024). Took a table in front of the bbq. Their lovely dog was right next to the cook who was petting it and touching the foods without washing hands after. Fish, meat, poultry all touching without using any soap while transitioning from one to the other. The previous years they were much more helpful and kind. This year border line rude. we felt as if they were doing as a favour. Really...
