We have had the best welcome and service here in this sleepy little village tucked away in the hills of Koukouli, the best out of any country or guesthouse ever. The lady of guesthouse is a genuinely lovely person who tries to communicate as openly and with a big smile despite the language barrier. We were 5 people who stayed here for 2 nights, we had dinners on both nights and breakfast for 2 mornings. The food served has to be the best out of the whole trip to Greece. From the homemade pie to moussaka and souvlakis, everything tasted simply amazing. The tastiest by far. Not to forget about the heartiest breakfast with a beautiful view. Definitely highly recommend it anyone wanting to visit this beautiful hidden gem...

Enticed inside by a little old lady’s charming welcome, we were hoping for a few mouthfuls of local delicacies. A few moments later, in which we enjoyed the attractive environment and wonderful bird song, we found ourselves under attack by plates loaded with food. Warning, although she doesn’t speak English, this innocent looking old lady is an ace salesman. The highlight of the meal was a vegetarian moussaka, fresh with courgette and aubergine. Delicious. The bean stew was also enjoyable though a touch over salted. The cheese/greens pie had to be saved for the next days breakfast. The bill was surprisingly high at €30 for 3 dishes and 2 coffees, nevertheless well worth it. The setting is very...

I stayed in the guesthouse and ate in the restaurant for dinner with my family. The guesthouse was good but the bedsheets were itchy, fabric softener had not been used.

Don't be fooled. For dinner, she gave a spoken menu and we assumed it would be cheap. The food was okay but she served this weird pizza thing which was horrid, it was doughy and weird. The bill ended up being €114 for 4 people!! (Lamb, pork, pizza, Greek salad, 2 bits of wine and drinks). She always tries to upsell everything so don't be fooled.

The breakfast was also horrible- some dried up bits of bread and some...

We arrived at 3pm, super exhausted and hungry after a 6 hours hike. There was no one else at the restaurant but the owner. She was super nice and welcoming, offered us coffee, a Greek salad and some quiche alike pie. We didn’t receive a menu, also didn’t ask for it though as we felt like she knew exactly what we needed. The food was super delicious and I liked the family like atmosphere. Really felt like she wanted to take care of us

We had lunch at this beautiful traditional tavern. The owner was very helpful and kind. Let them suggest the daily specials! I strongly recommend the black beans, grilled sheep chops, cabbage and carrot salad from their garden, galotiri, and the homemade pie with a secret recipe. Everything was very fresh and beautifully prepared.🫶🏻🌹
