Canteen Mantalina — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Landing here was something of a godsend! The two ladies, mother and daughter, are truly unique. They are so warm and lovely, we have never experienced that before. The food is super good but the two women are the highlight of this restaurant. The view is beautiful and the restaurant is very sweetly decorated. You feel right at home. When we wanted to tip the two ladies, they really didn't want to accept it. They even ran after us to give us our money back. The best food we had during our vacation in Zakynthos. But what we remember more is how lovingly we were treated by the two women. We felt like part of their family. This experience was truly unique. You don't meet such great people twice in your life. We can really recommend this restaurant from the bottom of our hearts and hope that you will also go there to enjoy this great experience. Please tip the women as they are truly one of a kind. We will certainly come back to Zakynthos and eat with them several times. I guarantee you will have the experience of your vacation. You won't find anything like it a second...

Outstanding Cantina Where You Least Expect It Tucked away in a stunningly peaceful location, accessible best by sea, this little cantina is a hidden gem in Zakynthos. Nestled within a naturally sheltered bay, the setting is simply idyllic. Angeliki’s Cantina is nothing short of amazing. It’s a family-run place where every guest is treated like a friend. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and authentic. The food—though simple in concept—is crafted with genuine care and love, and the flavors are absolutely memorable.

A huge thank you to Angeliki and her lovely family. You’ve created something truly special. On our next sailing trip through the Ionian, this will definitely be one of our must-stop destinations.

10 Stars!!!! We spent 2-weeks sailing the Ionian islands and this place was hands down one of the highlights of our trip!!! It’s a hidden gem that you will not regret going to — trust me, GO!!!! I’ve lived in Greece 2-years, their food is phenomenal and what’s even better are the people running it!!!! It’s a family business with salt of the earth people!!! You feel the care, love, and passion in EVERY DISH!!!! It was a surreal paradise experience and we can’t wait to return!!! They do meals to-go too!!! We got the gyros platter the next day and we throughly enjoyed it at Navagio Cove!!
