What a wonderful surprise 😎👌... My wyfe and myself have visited this little "taverna" by a late evening day of September. First, we have thought that it was just a "café" but in fact they cook one of the best grilled food you should eat on all the island of Zakynthos. It was late and all the kitchen was already cleaned up... But, with none hesitation, the owner has accepted to receive us and cooked us 2 wonderful dishes... As we stood a few days in Maries in the very nice "LEANDRO HOUSE" we decided to get there several times... Good idea because it was every time so tasty and delicious... We have spoken with the owners KIKI AND SPYROS and we have barely found people so nice and welcoming... They work hard all year long to make the best for their customers... They also manage the little supermarket just in front of the "taverna" where you can find anything necessary for your journey in this so nice area in the North West Side of the island... If you pass by the way to the famous Shipwreck, stop at the "Centro Café" without hesitatation for the lunch or for the dinner to taste their delicious dishes and appreciate their deep kindness.... From the moment we sipped the vibrant fresh Orange Juice, it was clear that Centro Kitchen Grill was going to be a highlight of our Maries adventure. The Freddo Espresso was a jolt of joy, and the chicken souvlaki? Simply divine. It wasn’t just us who thought so – the kids devoured their souvlaki plates with an enthusiasm that only the most delicious of meals can inspire.

But what truly sets Centro apart is Lorena, the owner whose warmth rivals the Greek sun itself. She’s crafted a place that feels like home, and her partnership with the charming market across the street only adds to the allure.

LA MEILLEURE VIANDE DE TOUTE L'ÎLE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ET L'ACCUEIL LE PLUS CHALEUREUX 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Nous avons sillonné toute l'île de Zakinthos durant deux semaines et n'avons trouvé nulle part une viande d'une telle saveur, tendre et cuite à souhait. Nous sommes passés devant le CENTRO très tard en revenant de la baie du Naufrage (Shipwreck). Auparavant, nous avions été refusés partout ailleurs vu qu'on est hors saison(fin septembre 2021) Pourtant l'employée du CENTRO n'a pas hésité une seule seconde pour nous préparer, avec un beau sourire, ce que nous avions choisi, alors qu'elle avait déjà nettoyé son grill et toute sa cuisine. Comme nous avions loué la charmante maison "Leandro Private House" à Mariès nous y sommes retournés plusieurs fois, nous avons essayé plusieurs plats tout aussi bons, avec des frites croustillantes, dorées et servies bien chaudes (et ce sont des Belges, venant du pays de la FRITE, qui vous le confirment). Nous avons fait la connaissance de Kiki, la charmante patronne qui nous a expliqué qu'elle utilisait la viande des éleveurs des alentours, c'est là le secret de la qualité de ses mets. Un vin local agrémentera aussi vos repas, avec une addition on ne peut plus "digeste". Le CENTRO est un établissement récent, coquet, sobrement décoré et d'une propreté irréprochable. Ne vous laissez pas dissuader par l'appellation "snack" qui correspond plutôt aux prix modestes de la carte car la qualité est vraiment au rendez-vous !
