Wow…
Probably the best venue on Zakynthos, fantastic views, great local food and an authentic experience. I visited this resturaunt with my wife and children as part of a tour of the island and it really was the jewel in the crown, the first surprise were the views, absolutely stunning with huge panoramic vistas across the coast and sea on one side and mountains on the other, pictures don't do it justice, that being said, make sure you take your cameras!
The food was cracking too, local flavours and traditional island dishes alongside regional staples, there really was something for everyone, the children loved it and there were clean plates all round.
To top it off the local guide gave us a history lesson while we ate and added in some traditional local songs while accompanied by the restaurants owner on guitar, it really was an enchanting experience.
The facilities were good too, while there were several terraced areas accessed by stairs there was also a large wheelchair accessible area and there were toilets too, these were clean and tidy and quite smart, in fact they were some of the nicest I saw on the island.
In closing, if and when I return to Zakynthos, I will return to the...

For mains the moussaka tasted like it was made three days ago and just heated up in the microwave, and the napolitana pasta tasted like tinned tomato sauce over spaghetti (the cats liked this one too).
They didn’t have the Briam dish which seems strange that they don’t have any vegetables to roast up which makes us think most the other dishes are pre-made and not fresh as well. To add to that, they also tried to charge us for bread which we didn’t order or eat.
We came here for the “honest home cooking” and left very disappointed. No love at all shown in the food. If it’s because it’s low season and you’re trying to cut costs, maybe you should close the doors until high season begins again because this was just an embarrassment to Zakynthian and Greek cooking.
On a plus side, the view is alright but you can see sunsets just as nice anywhere...
Read moreI recently visited this place known for its stunning sunset views, and while the ambiance was indeed amazing, the overall experience fell short of our expectations. The service could definitely be better; after we complained about the grilled king prawns, the manager laughed and joked that we didn’t know anything about cooking, which felt unprofessional and dismissive.
The prawns themselves were dirty and undercooked—certainly not the quality we anticipated. The presentation was also lacking, adding to our disappointment.
Other meals were decent but still had significant room for improvement. For instance, the steak we ordered medium rare arrived medium and was quite chewy.
Despite these issues, the restaurant will likely continue to attract customers due to its beautiful location. However, enhancing both the food and service would greatly improve the overall...
