Read moreVenture slightly inland (while others tend to stick to the seaside destinations) and you may stumble upon this lovely taverna overlooking a valley filled with olive trees. At sunset the neighbouring hill with a church hid us in its shade - a breathtaking view which only enhanced the overall experience. Their moussaka was to die for.. Haven't had one as good as this before or since (when you visit, make sure to say hello to a very friendly goat which can be found right next to their parking lot)

Read moreWe found this fantastic restaurant by a lucky punch on google maps. When we arrived the sun was setting over the mountain and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The view was beautiful over the valley as the lights were turned on in the villages below. The service was very good and the waiter recommended the beef stifado and came with a sample for us. It was perfectly tender and delicious and we ended up ordering it for the whole family. Finally we ordered a cup of coffee and as a final treat the waiter brought us a piece of local cake for free.
