Revised Review for Spice Affair
A few months ago, I shared my experience at Spice Affair, and I’m delighted to update my review after a recent visit. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the owner and manager for reaching out to us regarding our previous experience. Their kindness and genuine concern about our feedback were truly appreciated.
We decided to give Spice Affair another chance, and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel right at home. We ordered a variety of dishes, including several entrees, appetizers, cocktails, and desserts—all the typical items we enjoyed during our last visit. This time, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was exceptional, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. My previous visit wasn’t bad, but some items didn’t quite match the menu descriptions. However, this experience exceeded all expectations.
The highlight of our visit was celebrating my birthday at Spice Affair. The manager and the entire staff went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made my celebration special.
I highly recommend Spice Affair to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in Grenada. The fusion of Indian, and International cuisine is truly unmatched, and the service is impeccable. We will definitely be back again soon! Thank you, Spice Affair, for an amazing evening and for turning our experience into a memorable one.
I recently visited Spice Affair for dinner, hoping to repeat the lovely experience I had during my first visit. Unfortunately, this time, it did not live up to my expectations.
We started with an appetizer, Honey Chili Sesame Potatoes described as crispy fried potatoes. What arrived were undercooked, mushy, french fries covered in a chili honey sauce, not what we were expecting based on the menu description.
My companion and I ordered two entrees. I had the Vegetable Biryani, which was unusual as it was made with short grain rice instead of the long grain basmati it is supposed to be made with. My entree, a mushroom and green pea curry, was delicious. My husband ordered Chicken Saagwala, and asked to be made spicy. It was mild at best, and lacked both spiciness and flavor.
I'm hoping this was just an off night for them, as my first experience was very good. However, this second visit left much to be desired, and I'm not sure I would return again, based on this experience. It seems they are not maintaining the standard...

From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the restaurant's stunning ambiance. The outdoor seating area is equally impressive, offering a serene and picturesque setting for those who prefer to dine al fresco. It's the kind of place that makes you feel special from the get-go.
We decided to sample a variety of entrees, eager to explore the diverse flavors that Spice Affair had to offer. Each dish was a delightful surprise, with spices and flavors that transported us straight to the streets of India. The authenticity of the cuisine was truly impressive, and every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and passion.

Such a beautiful restaurant and the food tastes divine but it is a pity that the service is practically nonexistent. From the time we walked in, my party of six was given an unnecessary amount of attitude. We were unaware that we needed to have a reservation and when we tried to get a table, Zana (I'm not sure if that's how you spell her name) told us there were no available tables because they were booked. After asking how long the wait would be, the service went down from there. Thankfully, the restaurant was completely empty so we were able to be seated. I'll skip over the fact that Zana threw down the menu, rolled her eyes, and told me there was no weekly special...although there was. I'm just glad the food tasted great to make up for such terrible service. I was also grateful that Jarel took over waiting our table because he was amazing. I was impressed by his service. It's just disappointing that Zana had such a nasty attitude because it was offputting and contrary to the raving reviews my friends gave it. Great food but I doubt I...
