Love Cerveceria 14 in Antigua and hoped for the same here but a little room for improvement. The atmosphere was nice - a weekday evening in May meant it was virtually empty, good for us! There was no entry fee after 4pm. The menu offerings look amazing. We ordered some of their beers, tostones, a cheeseburger and the fish and chips. I asked if I could add pickles to the cheeseburger and the waitress went to "ask" someone, and came back and said no. She didn't offer them for an extra charge, just said no. Okay, I ordered the burger anyway - menu says it comes with lettuce, tomato and onions. There was no tomato, so I asked her for the tomato slice, she said well how did you order it? I said I just ordered it from you off the menu and it says tomato is included. I also asked for some salt for the fries. She NEVER CAME BACK lol. No tomato, no salt. No one else in the restaurant and I sat there looking in her direction, just never acknowledged us again - a different server came to offer more drinks when our food was done. My companion ordered the fish and chips. Generous portion of fish, but very small portion of tartar sauce. She asked for a side of mayo for her fries, and the waitress came back and said it would cost extra. My companion said okay. It took about five minutes to get the extra mayo. Again, no other customers in the entire place. Not sure why a tomato, salt shaker, and cup of mayo was such a difficult task. Read moreGood idea, bad executed it...there is a lots of things that could be improve in terms of architecture and the edification... The service is the best part.. The waitress are local people, humble people and willing to service also that they have a lot of personal and thats great.. I'd recommended to give them a comfort and fresh uniform so all of them look cohesive and customer can identify them. The food is good and the drinks as well.... A bit to price in general but hope they are paying well to...
