Hotel y Restaurante "La Cabaña" — Restaurant in Puerto Barrios

The environment in the hotel "La Cabaña" is very welcoming. The view from the balcony gives out a sweet exotic look to what Puerto Barrios is all about. The air conditioning is a feature I look forward to in a very humid country. They also have great customer care. There is also a formal renting room for special event; such as marriages and get together's including business event. For comfort they have TV's and computers available. Finally the restaurant has rich menus of a large verity of servings for everyone's taste. All In all, it was a great experience being there...

Las cabañas has great air conditioners, hot showers and comfy beds. The restaurant downstairs is very convenient. I liked that they supplied bottled water and fresh sheets daily and the price was great. The wifi was great. The thing I liked the least was probably how noisy traffic outside was. Plan on climbing stairs...

LAMENTABLE. Escribí para confirmar la reserva muchas veces y cuando llegué se les había olvidado. Nos metieron en una habitación que ya estaba ocupada (sacando delante nuestro las maletas de otra persona que estaban dentro), nos dieron la habitación sin limpiar que daba asco, sucia, agua fría y sin ventanas. Y nos dijeron que se comprometían a llamarnos a un taxi a las 5 de la mañana al día siguiente porque dependían todas nuestras conexiones de desplazarnos a tiempo, se lo recodamos y nos dijeron que tranquilos y al día siguiente el taxi no apareció, allí nadie llamó a nadie. Preguntamos en la cocina y a un señor que estaba de guardián y nos vacilaron en nuestra cara. Nos tuvieron que ayudar unos chicos de la calle que pasaban con unas bicis. De verdad que no os recomiendo en absoluto alojaros allí, salí con unas ganas de llorar...
