Oh my gosh, this is heaven. We are from the US, but have been here four times over the past 5 or 6 years. New owners have been our hosts during the past 2 visits. The menu and food quality is just as good as before. We hike in from St Peter Port. The scones with clotted cream and jam are just perfect. And the coffee, oh so good. I'll have to admit, that the goal of our most recent trip was just to return to the beautiful sea views and those scones. At least, the long hike burns off those calories. Of course, if you have a car, you can just drive. I'm glad it's 5,000 miles away, otherwise I'd overindulge.

I wish I could give this...

We took our time on the walk down from St Peter Port and took over two and a half hours but I have also done the walk around the cliff path in around 90 minutes.

Once there, the comment "probably the nest located tea room, ever" came to mind. Sheltered from the wind but with a superb view over the bay. Well kept gardens and plenty of Renoir references.

Crab sandwiches were gorgeous. Coffee quantity was a bit disappointing and the crisps provided with the sandwich were poor, but I forgive them everything for the setting and the view.

Be careful, the only toilets are 150 m up the road in the car park and it's...

The garden setting was out of this world and the view down to the bay was fantastic and worth a walk to get there BUT the food was very expensive We ordered 2 salads which were in jars and 1 sandwich which I might add came out as 2 bits of bread and a pot of egg mayo now call me old fashioned but I thought when you order a sandwich is come ready made not a build it yourself job and with drinks came to just under £50. The staff seemed friendly enough it was just the horrendous prices that would put me off from...

What a find!! Charming and friendly people running this exceptional ‘find’. Probably the best coronation chicken on sour dough we’ve ever tasted. Beautifully presented too. Excellent drinks. And, oh the views!!! 🫶❤️ * Plentiful parking is available, but a good way up the hill - be warned if not reasonably fit. Or just take your time!! We didn’t find the beach worth the visit. Stay with the tea room views.
