Relaxed, lovely food and a perfect place to be. Due to such a hot day I chose a prawn and salmon salad, I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size and it was really tasty. Not too expensive for what it was, in my eyes 😊 sorry for the half eaten photo but I forgot to take one at the start 😂😂

What a beautiful day to visit herm and had lunch here with a group of people. Good service by the staff but a bit disappointed with the soft fries. I like it crunchy but some of the guests from my group love it. I guess everyone like different style of fries 😂

Really disappointed with my experience here. We visited on the Sunday of the bank holiday an hour and a half before food stopped service. When we tried to order from the already limited menu, we were told that only nut roast, moules or halloumi salad were available. Half the food came twenty minutes after the other, and it really was not worth the wait. The nut roast was disgusting, a mix of extremely dry but very sweet due to caramelisation on the outside. The cauliflower cheese didn’t arrive with the meal (or at all), and the vegetables were so garlicky it was inedible (my friend counted seven cloves of garlic in his portion). The only people that enjoyed their food were two of our party who were told everything else they wanted was unavailable, so they had a pizza off the children’s menu. Service was poor and staff did not seem sympathetic to stuff being late (in fact just laughing at us). Given this is the main pub from the harbour and it was a bank holiday weekend, they should have prepared better. Would not recommend visiting, bring...

Firstly, the food isn't that great. I had a burger and cajun chips. The burger was one of those frozen store deals, but the cajun chips were good and spicy. I'm glad I got that rather than the regular chips that my dining partner had - they were soggy and not very good. She had fish and chips, and the fish was also not the greatest. Despite that, it's the best place on the island to get a meal, the service was decent (although they got my order wrong - I ordered a pulled pork burger and got a regular hamburger), and their outside seating area has lots of space. No bathrooms here, so you have to use the public bathrooms just outside (and incidentally the only ones on the island!). 3 stars because a) it's the only game in town and b) decent outdoor seating area with a well...

Great beer garden, good vibes in the sun. Food was average but didn’t disappoint. The only thing that did disappoint was the older man working behind the bar who tried to rush us whilst we were looking at the menu (away from the bar and with no other customers around so not in the way at all). I replied with “oh we are not ready yet”, as if it wasn’t plainly obvious already, and he proceeded to shake his head and laugh. If more options on the island we would have left instantly, very poor from him. On the other hand every other person working there had great customer service. Thank...
