Tucked away in the heart of the countryside of St Saviour, even as a local, you inadvertently forget that this place of tranquillity is there. However two weeks ago we dropped in on Sunday without a booking and had a fantastic Sunday lunch. The husband and wife owners make you feel so welcome and even if someone has food allergies, nothing is too much trouble.

The food is wonderful and not expensive. We went there again on Saturday for my daughter's birthday lunch and once again the fish we chose was wonderful.

In winter with the old worldly beams and granite fireplace in the centre, it is really cozy. Definitely a...

I have been to a lot of restaurants in Guernsey and one thing I have noticed is the lack of creativity on the menu. Every restaurant has the same dishes and same menus. ||Coming to the Auberge Du Val is like a breath of fresh air. Delicious food with beautiful presentation. This is a family run business with top quality food. The family and staff are really welcoming and friendly. Whether it’s for an al fresco lunch to enjoy the lovely garden area or stay cozy inside on a rainy day, the environment is beautiful and has this je ne sais quoi that just hits differently compared to other restaurants...

I can never find this place as it's in the middle of nowhere even if I am local.. Food was nice, Octopus starter with patatas bravas was really good but my main Skate Wing was a bit too salty if I'm honest. The almond cake was nice but also a bit too dry so it needed the ice cream. The atmosphere and owners are lovely and would definitely come back and try other food as the menu does look good.

Travelling on bikes around Guernsey. Came across this restaurant by chance in some quiet back roads. So beautifully restored inside. Was busy outside but staff happy to have us inside. Had a beautiful charcuterie board, fresh bread and rice pudding was amazing.! Would certainly visit again if back in Guernsey
