Riviera Royal Hotel — Restaurant in Conakry

I stay there everytime i’m in Conakry. Last time, I stayed in a suite in the newly inaugurated wing of the building. Rooms are spacious, very well decorated, super clean, sound proof (there is a railtrack next to the hotel, but you can’t hear trains anymore in the new rooms versus rooms in old wing).Staff is amazingly professional, very kind and they will do everything they can to help you when you need. I’m a frequent worldwide traveler, and they are definitely my favorite.You feel like you enter a bubble, cut from the outside world when you enter the hotel premises.Breakfast is great too, they offer a diversified cold and hot buffet with lots of local fruits, fresh squeezed juice at will and delicious Guinean/Lebanese inspired pastries.The new wing has a nice, classy and chic rooftop bar with a scenic view of Conakry bay and town. There’s also a bar/restaurant next to the pool where you can enjoy drinks and high quality Guinean/Lebanese dishes at affordable price.They have a shuttle service that will pick you up at the airport (and drop you when leaving).The gym is nice and clean with Life Fitness bodybuilding machine.The only con is the wi-fi. Connection drops frequently, even in the room, and you have to move around the place until you find a good spot. I am Vinoo George from India and have been coming to Conakry almost every two months. The Chef, Roy, at Injeera restaurant is out of this world, when it comes to cooking excellent Indian Cuisine be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian. That is the main reason why I prefer to stay here each time and recommend all my Indian friends to do so. My friends too share my experience after their stay at this hotel. He is equally good at other cuisines but Indian is just out of this world!!!Very strongly recommended to one and all.

Another reason for my preference of this hotel is the comfort of the rooms and its size. House keeping is excellent.

Breakfast menu could be changed once in 3 days at least as it tends to get monotonous for people like me who have to stay for weeks on end.

Victoria, who has joined recently is very cheerful and hard working, making it a point to speak to every guest at breakfast, lunch and dinner to make them feel at home here. She really takes a lot of initiative to train the restaurant staff to improve on...

Ive had several wonderful stays at this hotel. From the moment you arrived, the staff is warm, professional, and attentive.

The rooms are spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beds are especially cozy, and they provide little details—like complimentary water, tea, coffee, etc.

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from for any foreigner or local. The restaurant was clean and inviting, and the service was consistently friendly. The food variety caters for everyone and tastes truely exquisite. The same can be said of the room service. The swimming pool and spa facilities are also well worth a try. Its evident the buildings and rooms are maintained on a regular basis, with crews constantly busy updating the facilities.
