Pronto Alegre Resto Café Bar — Restaurant in Copán

Beware, Caution!!! I had been going to this place for a few years while visiting Santa Rosa for business on a pretty regular basis. I recently (April 4, 2025) had a pretty expensive set of prescription glasses stolen there. Respectfully, I requested to see the survaillance video of the camera pointing directly to the area where my glasses were. Apparently, the video can only be reviewed by la "jefa" in San Pedro so the servers got in touch with her. This person verbally admitted, on the phone, that she was able to see my glasses were on the sofa next to me and then disappeared while I walked away for a few minutes. But too conveniently said she couldn't see who took them or how they were taken. I requested a short clip for at which point the glasses were present and then disappeared..... this person committed to sending me the video clip within a day through whatsapp, as I had to fly back home the next day. It has been several days, I checked in everyday since to remind her only to be ignored. I seriously believe an employee took them, hence the reason they do not want to reveal the video..... all I wanted to find out is how the glasses were taken, if no employee from the restaurant took them, great, I could continue trusting them. I have been to this place 30, 40 or more times in a 3 year span. I thought I was appreciated as a loyal customer but I just realized they dont care. So beware, do not trust them. Wow we stopped by to have a drink at this place and were very disappointed...first, we waited for 10 min to get someone to our table at least to great us, (thanks goodness they were not busy)so I had to go and find someone to take our order...we ordered 2 Cosmos and 2 beers. Les he dado 2 oportunidades en servicio al cliente. Hoy fui con mi hija y esperé 10-15 minutos para que me tomaran la orden, estábamos en el área de niños. Me levanté para indicarles que era lo que queríamos comer. Todos viéndose la cara y de mala gana la anotan, después se levanta y se dirige a la zona de niños para decirme de mala gana que no se puede comer ahí, solo estaba cuidando a mi hija. Entiendo las reglas pero no la manera tan pésima de atender y de todas maneras el área de niños huele muy muy mal, estaba vacío. En otra ocasión pedí sopas, una era para llevar y las demás para comer en restaurante, se les indicó que llegaríamos a pagar todo incluido lo que sería para llevar me dijeron Ok y que y tardaría 40 min, a lo que respondo de nuevo que yo llegaría a pagar todo y a comer en el restaurante. Al cabo del tiempo pregunto si ya habían preparado las sopas y me dice que NO, que por qué no las había pagado. Con mucha molestia les referí que tenían un pésimo servicio al cliente que lo reportaría con los dueños a lo que fresco me contesta que está bien.
