We went to El Rancho to go birding with the owner, and then to have lunch at the restaurant. Alex, the owner, could not have been more helpful or more enthusiastic on our birding trip, and we found some rare and endemic species. We returned to the restaurant for lunch, very hungry after all our walking, and lunch was on the table within minutes. We had fajitas, with a delicious selection of charcoal cooked meat, lovely fresh crisp salad, a gorgeous plate of dressed avocado and freshly made pico de gallo (and of course the obligatory sour cream and cheese).
