AL DENTE — Restaurant in San Pedro Sula

Very disappointed with our lunch today. We ordered the beef carpaccio and it was good. When we recieved our main dishes which were lasagna and filete minon with fettuccine Alfredo, my wife tasted her pasta and it was very salty. We asked the waitor to please exchange the pasta for vegetables and he took the plate back to the kitchen. Within a few minutes a lady came to our table and asked if we were the table that sent our plate back and I replied yes. She set the plate in front of my wife and said " we tried the pasta and it is not salty" and started to walk away when we called her back and asked to have the food packed to take away and give the food away instead of dumping it. How is this possible for her to say they tried my wife's food from her plate and then give it back as if we were going to eat it? I would never go back to this place and definitely do not recommend that anyone else does either. Such a lack of professionalism on their part and the person in charge has no clue what customer service is. Our waiter was good which I cannot deny but everything...

This is about as close as it gets to authentic Italian food in San Pedro Sula. It’s unfortunately a far cry from authentic and with local ingredients it’s just not possible to replicate Italian food. Specifically the meats, cheeses, and sauces will be a disappointment if you’re expecting authentic. If you judge this location against what San Pedro has to offer as a whole, 4 stars all day.
