Yu Grill Budapest Gastro Bar — Restaurant in Budapest

Yu-Grill is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Budapest. They serve authentic Serbian food but they also have other items on their menu like pizza or hamburger. I recommend you try the dishes they are most famous for, like Ustipak or the Gourmet Pljeskavica. If you are with your friends or family, try one of their Yu-Grill plates, so you can get a taste almost everything that is present on their menu (see the picture below). We have just eatten there. Good food, but the service is bad: they serve things you don't asked and mislead you by asking "would you adjvar or just a sauce". You make a choice and here you are: 500 HUF per person for a sauce?!!! 550 HUF for 1 grilled paprika per person. My husband got a drink, simular to uzu in a Greek restaurant voor 1590 HUF, he never asked for. He accepted the drink thinking it was for free. In total 30% of a bill were that "small things". We paid, of course, but just be aware that they cheat you just right...

First I was amazed that almost everybody rated this restaurant with 5 stars but after having dinner here unfortunately there is no 6-stars rating available :-) Really great dishes: we ordered the 4 persons ' yu grill plate' which was really good.
