Place from the outside maybe doesn't look super inviting, but don't be fooled by the outside looks. The place is very nice. Staff is super friendly, the blond lady that served us was very helpful and friendly, despite being alone and having many tables to take care off. The terrace view is spectacular, you can see lake Balaton from far! Food is nice, typical Hungarian with a twist in some dishes. Good quality, served nicely. Poppyseed cake was superb. Picturesque view, almost like a toscana: hills with grapevines then another hills... you can also see the lake Balaton well. The road to here is quite something, you need to be a good driver or get here with bicycle. They had tables even when the nearby Hegyi Csarda was full. We had live music, which made the dinner even more enjoyable. I am quite picky, so as my daughters, but all of us like the food. It is a pity that there were not so much gluten-free choice. Very friendly,young and enthusiastic staff. Room was small but fine with air- conditioner. Perfect for a short stay. Cuisine was based mainly on local products. The home made fig jam was delicious just as the home made cheese. They also have a wine cellar and they are offering wine tasting.
